The Board of Directors of Compugates (“Board”) is pleased to announce that Everflow Industry Sdn Bhd (650820-P) (“Everflow”) has on 13 August 2009 appointed Compugates Marketing Sdn Bhd (“CMSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Compugates as the sole distributor of Reactorrim Gadgets including Stimulation Gas, Weedicide and all the related accessories (collectively referred to as “the Products”) for territory of Kelantan and Perak (“Appointment”).

Everflow will provide assistance and support to CMSB in promoting, marketing, selling and servicing the Products. CMSB will promote, market, sell and service the Products to consumers within the boundaries permitted.

The Board is of the opinion that the Appointment, which is in the ordinary course of business of Compugates Group, is in the best interest of the Compugates Group and will contribute positively to the revenue of the Compugates Group in 2009.

None of the directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected with such directors and/or major shareholders have any interest, whether directly or indirectly, in the Appointment.


This announcement is dated 14 August 2009.
