brand consultant 啊... 我也不是很清楚... 我想或许少少都要有些吧~
之前实习时就听了由一位brand consultant给的一个讲座,感觉在上marketing 也才知道有酱的一个职位
没记错的话,上学期上marketing的时候有个case study是关于星巴克咖啡的。有个part是讲它的brand,label等... 星巴克logo本来是棕色的,之后把logo改成青色,也在其他方面下工夫例如更进它的经营方式,坚持使用上等arabica咖啡豆,塑造咖啡店的气氛等而造就了它今天的成功。(很多故事我省略了)
从更改logo的颜色来看,的确需要对颜色有一定的敏锐。这个case study我是系友做的,我就po一下星巴克咖啡的brand name, brand equity和brand positioning. (我那一组做DELL)
Brand name
It is a name, term, sign, symbol,or design, or a combination of these, that identifies the maker of a product orservice. Starbucks brand is well known for its Italian and American blendingcoffeehouse. The name is easily to pronounce and the selection of logo allowthe regular customer as well as the new visitors to recognise the stores. Thegreen colour logo with clear Starbucks name is easily identified anddifferentiated from the other coffeehouses. By mentioning Starbucks, peoplewill tell that they produce the best brewed coffee and consumer services. Thesegood perceptions will encourage customers to come back again in future for thesame brand.
Brand Equity
Brands vary inthe amount of power and value they have in the marketplace. A powerful brandhas high brand equity. Brand equity is the positive differential effect thatknowing the brand name has on customer.
Starbucksdealt with brand equity by redesigncompany’s logo, look more fresh and attractive and always takefuture into account. By this, Starbucks using only high quality Arabica beansto produce high quality coffee. Proper equipment and well-trained employeeswill make sure that qualities of coffee are consistent.
Besides, Starbucks focusing on customersfeedback to continue satisfying customers and making sure they are on the topof competition.
BrandPositioning
Brandpositioning refer to how perception and expectation of brand in consumer’smind.
Starbucks dealtwith brand positioning with focus on customers wants by preparing calm andrelax environment. Another is serving with high quality drink so consumers willalways associational Starbuck are trendy and high quality.
