交易所放寬期貨交易商門檻


（吉隆坡3日訊）大馬交易所（BURSA，1818，主板金融股）將撤除考試、學歷及經驗的先決條件，放寬要求，讓更多有意成為衍生產品交易商的國人參與。
大馬交易所今日發文告稱，有興趣成為專業衍生產品交易商及自營交易商的人士，可以參加大馬交易所衍生產品（BMD）所主辦，為期兩天的課程。
所謂「自營交易商」，是指使用自己戶口來進行交易，或是自僱的專業衍生產品交易商。隨著要求放寬，有意者不必再參加執照考試，或出示相關學歷以及工作經驗。文告指出，這是大馬交易所欲提升衍生產品市場的參與者數量的舉措之一。
大馬交易所首席執行員兼衍生產品主席拿督達祖丁阿丹表示，交易商在當下都掌握許多資源，以便作出明智決定。大馬交易所不應對衍生產品交易的參與資格進行緊密把關。
推出熟習操作課程
取而代之的是，大馬交易所將推出熟習操作課程，讓國內參與者可裝備自己，懂得相關知識，並瞭解衍生產品交易的風險。
達祖丁指出：「這項放寬措施顯示，大馬交易所要擴大自營交易商人數，因他們對市場流動性貢獻很大。如今，交易商可更好的管理自己的投資組合，並享受許多益處，包括費用回饋及扣稅。隨著網上交易日漸發達，他們可隨時進行交易。」根據條例，自營交易商可用自己的
資金進行交易，但卻不能代替客戶進行交易。若交易商每個月進行1000宗或以上的合約買賣，將獲得匯率和結算費的回退。

   这是一个令人兴奋的消息，可以放宽条列是件好事，让更多的人参与就可以提高交易量和市场活跃量。但是我找不到可以报名的联络方式，打电话又不方便。各位可有尝试联络过BMD吗？

BURSA MALAYSIA DERIVATIVES, PHILLIP FUTURES & UTAR RUN COMMODITY TRADING CHALLENGE FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

As part of a pilot project, Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (BMD), together with Phillip Futures and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), is offering the university's local undergraduates and graduate students the opportunity to compete in an international derivatives trading game and be in the running for a paid summer internship with CME Group in Chicago.

The Commodity Trading Challenge, an international electronic and open outcry competition, is an annual competition organised by CME Group and supported by BMD as part of its efforts to educate and raise awareness on derivatives trading. This is in line with BMD's corporate social responsibility focus on educational programs through meaningful university collaborations. This will be the first year that BMD is sending participating teams for the Commodity Trading Challenge.

Dato' Tajuddin Atan, Chief Executive Officer of Bursa Malaysia Berhad and Chairman of BMD said, "We want to grow our pipeline for a new generation of futures traders and in line with this, we are supportive of initiatives that will build awareness and interest among the young in derivatives trading. Given our partnership with the CME Group in our derivatives business, this Challenge is apt in giving our students the relevant exposure to global trading. It further reinforces the fact that derivatives trading can be done from anywhere in this world. We are also appreciative that Phillip Futures is undertaking this initiative to help build up the industry."

The Malaysian leg of the Commodity Trading Challenge, to be held from 16-18 January 2012, will pit teams of UTAR students against one another by simulating trading in crude palm oil (FCPO) and equity index futures (FKLI), two of BMD's highly traded derivatives products. The top four winning teams, two each representing undergraduate and graduate students, will represent UTAR in the global challenge to be held in the first quarter of 2012. Students will have the opportunity to learn from experts and practitioners in the industry as well as experience what it is like to be a futures trader.

"Through this Challenge, students will learn about futures trading strategies, and technical and fundamental analyses. They will also gain hands-on experience of the processes involved and be guided by qualified mentors from the industry. I urge our students to do their best to compete against the teams from other countries and make us proud," added Dato' Tajuddin.

Students from UTAR who were selected to participate in the competition attended a two-day workshop this week conducted by Phillip Futures where they were given an introduction to futures and taught to use the trading system to execute trades. For the Malaysian leg of the challenge, each team will be allocated a mock sum of money to buy and sell the relevant derivatives contracts. They will be judged on their ability to fill orders and utilise proper trading techniques. The top four teams will also win cash prizes and internships with Phillip Capital, the holding company of Phillip Futures.
