Honeywell (aerospace engineering)
Supplier Quality Engineer
(Penang - - Prai)
Requirements:
- Candidatemust possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma orProfessional Degree in Engineering (Material Science), Engineering(Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering(Electrical/Electronic), Physics or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in - Prai.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
- 3 Full-Time positions available.
- Managethe quality performance of materials supplied by Suppliers assigned tobe under his/her Technical leadership. This activity requires thefollowing tasks among others:
- Understand Honeywell’sMaterial/Parts specification requirements and provide technicalleadership for improvements to be conducted either by HoneywellEngineering or Suppliers.-
- Establish Incoming Inspection Requirements, IIR, in the Incoming System CRIS/SAP
- Train Incoming Inspection Inspectors to perform new or revised IIR activities.-
- Issue NCMR or ANCMR as necessary for Non-Conforming Materials-
- Timely and Effectively Disposition non-conforming materials at Incomingor returned from the Production Line and conduct MRBs (Materials ReviewBoards) as necessary involving the required engineering disciplines-
- Perform and/or coordinate FAI (First Article Inspection) for newMaterial Part Numbers. Issue to Suppliers NCMRs, (Non-ConformingMaterial Reports), request Corrective Actions and manage SupplierCorrective Actions Effectiveness and Responsiveness.-
- Coordinate with Supplier Quality Field Engineers follow up activitieson Corrective Actions for detected Incoming/Factory Material Rejectionsand Product/Process/System Audit Findings
- Identify Incoming Inspection Parts which inspection activities can be reduced or eliminate
- Strategic Supplier Quality Improvement Activities
- Improve Supplier Quality relying on data, facts and actions:
- Prepare Monthly Supplier/Materials “Quality Deep Dives”, (Trends,Paretos and Specific Improvement Actions) to drive focused SupplierQuality Improvements activities Work with Product Engineering andSuppliers to optimize Honeywell or Suppliers Specifications to improvematerials manufacturability and reduce rejection rates.-
- Establish as necessary Supplier Quality Improvement Plans/Programs to accelerate Supplier/Materials Quality Improvements.
- Reduce Cost and Cycle Time of Incoming Inspection Activities.
- Conduct periodic Supplier Quality Improvement Program/Activities Reviews
- Be a member of the Material Change Control Board and be an activeReviewer and Approver of Material Change Orders affecting thematerials/suppliers under his/her responsibility.
- Provide technical leadership in the change review process with Suppliers prior effective date of change implementation
- Participate as a member or leader in Site Commodity Quality Improvement Management Teams.
- Participate as necessary in Site Cross Functional Quality Improvement Teams
- Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required. Will consider two-year degree with applicable work experience and Six Sigma
- Mechanical / Electro Mechanical/ Electrical / Physics / Material Science Engineering degree preferred
- Additional Qualifications:
- High technical training (engineer or equivalent).
- Successful experience in Team Management.
- Training in industrial quality.
- Knowledge of quality methodology : APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, Process Auditing, Ecats, ISO/TS, 8D etc.
- Self starter
- Establishes and meets commitments

MAS Direct Intake F/O
Requirements:
1. Malaysian citizen, age between 18 to 30 years old (as at date of application)
2. Qualification :
1. Must possess Malaysian ATPL or Malaysian CPL/IR with Frozen ATPL and obtained a minimum Aviation English Level 4
2. Pass SPM or its equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government with 6 credits including Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mathematics, Physics or General Science taken at one sitting ; OR
3. Possess Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Science related disciplines with CGPA 3.0 and above AND 6 credits with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia in SPM
3. Candidates who has completed all ground school examination is also eligible to apply
4. Recommendation letter from flying school would be an added advantage
5. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
6. Medically and physically fit with good eyesight and not colour blind
Not less than 163 cm (5ft 4in) in height
Note:
1. Shortlisted candidates are required to sit for MISPA and Simulator Test
