关于英国TIER 1 POST STUDY WORK Visa？？

pai seh，我去年申请IGS时是规定必须读至少1年的课程。我刚刚去看了最新的tier1(post study) guidance，的确没有说明读书的period，只说明要有UK uni's degree certificate。

其实还有一个很重要的问题..
就是...我之前也是没有申请学生签证..
但要是有degree cert和confirmation letter或unconditional offer letter等等。。
都该能证明我们在那念过书，毕了业，拿了文凭吧...
要是之前没有学生签证的都可以申请，
但到我们这种状况连连的（包括一个决定一起申请的朋友） ，
却不能申请，简直就说不过嘛..！！
真气人..!!

对阿，很不公平，原本我们在UK可以直接申请IGS,现在不能了。。。要等成绩。。。haiz...
之前你们就应该早申请了，现在迟了，而却UK immigration一直在更新啊。。。

真的很不甘心呢...
之前还为了申请的事，还麻烦到家人，亲戚..甚至好朋友...
而如果申请不到的话...我也不想活了...（开玩笑..开玩笑..！！）
不过，我也不想轻言放弃,我想我还是会坚持下去吧...
虽然觉得很难..但更不想将来后悔当初放弃这申请的机会..
请大家为将要申请的弟兄们..祈祷吧..!!
最重要的是，别忘了也要为我祈祷...

英国的移民政策每年都改。SEGS好像维持1-2年，接替的IGS只有1年，现在又出新的。每年都不一样，实在搞到大家头都大。

还是有那么多人不介意那些改革嘛...
所以"他们"越改越上瘾...反正每改一次,就有借口起价嘛...!

没这个规定。去年我有四个念 summer course 的朋友都在 malaysia 申请到 IGS 然后飞来英国工作。其中一个现在在英国是做着 construction 相关行业，另一个是会计师，另一个在 carphone warehouse 里当柜台服务人员，另一个在伦敦是个某个公司部门的consultant

四个朋友都念不同的 course.

四个朋友里头，有三个之前没申请 student visa 来英国念书，回了马来西亚后才申请 IGS 过来的。至于最新的 PSW scheme, 那些没拿 student visa 来的能申请 PSW 机会应该很渺茫，因为都没足够的分数。

和朋友经过一番细心研究后，
突然发现UKBA website有这么一段句子...
觉得应该就是针对那些在英国拿短期课程但却没有学生签证的毕业生...
不懂我们是否误解了...
希望各位大大可以给予一些意见...

Immigration status during United Kingdom study and/or researchPoints assessment
This page explains how many points you must score for your immigration status during United Kingdom study and/or research in the points-based assessment to apply under the post-study worker category (Tier 1 Post-study work) of the points-based system to work in the United Kingdom.
On this page:

• Points awarded for your immigration status

Full details of all requirements are in the immigration rules at paragraphs 245V to 245ZA of part 6a, which you can find on the right of this page. You must read the policy guidance before you apply under this category. You can download the guidance and application form from the Applying section.
Points awarded for your immigration statusYou can claim 20 points if you can show that during your period of study and/or research in the United Kingdom, you had permission to enter or stay in the United Kingdom as a:

• student; or
• student nurse; or
• student resitting an examination; or
• student writing up a thesis; or
• dependant of someone with leave in any category that allows dependants to join them in the United Kingdom.

We will not award any points if your immigration status was not one of those listed above while you were studying in the United Kingdom towards the qualification that you want to claim points for, and will refuse your application.
You do not need to have lived in the United Kingdom throughout the entire period of your study. It is reasonable to expect, for example, that as a student you may have studied overseas and/or done research while getting the qualification you are claiming points for.

不知以上这些是不是有利于那些没有学生签证，
却有大学的offer letter, confirmation letter等等证明在英国的确读过书的毕业生呢？

我下个星期申请PSW。

更正一下，所谓的10月31号之前800镑，是给Transitional Arrangement (IGS, Fresh Talent, SEGS)的人。

意思也就是，如果你是第一次申请(Initial Application),非上述visa持有者上面这条rules并不apply到你们身上。所以你们的fund必须是申请前三个月，每个月800镑。

但是TA的，只要在10月31号之前申请，离你申请前最近一个月的bank statement,里边能证明有800镑，就可以了！可是还是一样得交上3个月的bank statement。
