Gamuda Berhad ("Gamuda" or "the Company") wishes to announce the issuance of an Investment Certificate dated 31 December 2007 ("Investment Certificate") by the Hanoi City People’s Committee ("HPC") to, and the concurrent approval of the establishment of Gamuda Land Vietnam Limited Liability Company ("GAMUDA LAND VIETNAM LLC"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gamuda in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Pursuant to the Investment Certificate, GAMUDA LAND VIETNAM LLC is given the right to fully develop Yen So Park ("Project") in accordance with the Detailed Master Plan as approved by the HPC. The Project is located 6km south of Hanoi City Centre.

The undertaking of the Project is expected to contribute positively to Gamuda Group’s earnings for the financial year ending 31 July 2008. None of the directors or major shareholders of Gamuda or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Project.
