AWARD OF CONTRACT
- J.S.T. Factory Sakigake in Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Johor
1. INTRODUCTION
The Board of Directors of Nam Fatt Corporation Berhad ("the Company") wishes to
announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nam Fatt Construction Sdn Bhd has
been awarded the construction contract for J.S.T. Factory Sakigake in Port of
Tanjung Pelepas, Johor ("the said Project") by J.S.T. Connectors (Malaysia) Sdn
Bhd. The contract sum is RM65,255,990.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Sixty-Five Million
Two Hundred and Fifty-Five Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety) only.
The contract period for the said Project shall be 376 days from the date of
commencement.
2. FINANCIAL EFFECTS
The Board of Directors is of the view that the aforesaid contract is expected
to contribute positively to the earnings of the Company in the future.
3. DIRECTORS AND SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDERS INTEREST
None of the Directors and/or substantial shareholders of the Company and
persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect in the above
transaction.
This announcement is dated 2 April 2007. |
