KNM - King Of OIL Stock.

KNM closing price: RM14.20
The share price shall be supported by 1:1 bonus issue and subdivison of RM0.50 to RM0.25 ordinary share.

It means:-
RM14.2/4= RM3.55

I think it will be another Genting/Resort/IOI share split performance.
10 more day to EX date 12th July 2007.See how KNM make the BREAK the history price?

Gaming Stock (Genting) before EX-date = History Price=RM45.00
Plantation Stock (IOI ) before Ex-date= History Price=RM28.75

Contents :

1) Bonus issue of up to 263,451,140 new ordinary shares of RM0.50 each in KNM Group Berhad ("KNM") to be credited as fully paid-up on the basis of one (1) new ordinary share of RM0.50 each in KNM ("Bonus Shares") for every one (1) existing ordinary share of RM0.50 in KNM held and

2) Share split involving the subdivision of each of the ordinary shares of RM0.50 each in KNM Group Berhad ("KNM") into two (2) ordinary shares of RM0.25 each in KNM (Subdivided KNM Shares") after the Bonus Issue.

Kindly be advised of the following :

1) The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted [ "Ex - All" ]
as from : [ 12 July 2007 ]

2) The last date of lodgement : [ 16 July 2007 ]

3) Retention Money : Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned :-

a) Selling Broker to deduct [ 1/2 ] , of the Selling Price against the Selling Client.

b) Buying Broker to deduct [ 50% ] of the Purchase Price against the Buying Client.

c) Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of [ 1/2 ] of the Transacted Price is applicable.

REMARKS :-

Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place on 17 July 2007 with bonus issue and share split of KNM shares of RM0.25 each, any shareholder who is entitled to receive KNM bonus issue and share split shares, may sell any or all of his KNM shares arising from the bonus issue and share split beginning the Ex-Date (12 July 2007).

For example, if Mr X purchases 100 KNM shares on cum basis on 11 July 2007, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 16 July 2007. As a result of the bonus issue and share split 400 KNM shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 16 July 2007 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the bonus issue and share split shares of 400 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 12 July 2007 onwards."
