艾瑞克萊普頓在西洋樂壇素有"吉他之神"的美譽，五十多歲方育得一子，然造化弄人， 一九九一年三月，才四歲大的愛子康諾( Conor )竟從紐約數十層高的公寓住家意外摔下身亡，艾氏傷痛之餘，寫下此曲，以紀念亡兒。

後來，艾瑞克萊普頓參與電影「Rush」配樂的編寫，在他的堅持下，這首歌出現在電影中，並成為他有史以來最暢銷的單曲，曾在告示牌雜誌的百大單曲榜上連續四週高掛亞軍，售出數百萬張。兒子去世一年後，艾瑞克萊普頓應MTV頻道之邀，舉辦不插電演唱會，演唱了這首曲子，真情流露思子之心，感動了在場及電視機前的所有歌迷。因為這首歌，這場演唱會的實況錄音於一九九二年八月發行成專輯後，在告示牌專輯榜上留連了超過兩年，全球共售出一千萬張。

請問savage garden算嗎﹖

有一首我非常喜欢，但是一直都问不到是谁唱的， 歌名叫做 Because I love you，每一次听都让人觉得非常感动，尤其是歌手的唱法， 简直是可以让人心神意会。 这个歌名的应该有好几首，但我想找的听说是一部戏的主题曲，好像是叫 The Postman 什么的，一部很久但听说很好看的戏， 请问有谁知道？

最好是情歌,我个人觉得那时代的情歌跟现在的有不同的味道,听了感觉也不一样.
我有收集了不少了,但总觉得有很多遗珠.

其他好听的经典老歌还有 Ocean Deep, 一级棒。 有没有听过 The Eagles 的 Love will keep us alive? 这首也不错，那个年代的创作， 如果第一次听的人可能还会觉得是近代的作品。当然不能忘记他们的 Hotel California ，代表作。Lionel Richie 的经典名曲 Hello 也很棒。 一次过连讲带形容恐怕怎么说也说不完啊。。
