hi....first of all,big thx to you who cr8 this useful software. I am melaka student and use the v1.1 beta2. I found some tutorial section no list out by the software....my timetable is the file attach. I found that TCS 2111 TMG1C,2C  and  TIS 2211 TMG 03B and TDB2121 TMG 07B no at the match timetable. Hope you dun mind if i wrong..ty

Dear friend,

The program generates valid matches from the subjects that you entered.
The sessions you mentioned cannot be fitted anyway into the timetable, as it will clashes with other subject. Thus it's not appearing at all.

To further explain:

Computer graphics' TMG1C and TMG2C both occupies Monday 1pm to 2pm, and Tuesday 3pm to 4pm.
No matter how you arrange, it will always clash with your database design. That's why it is not showing.

TIS' TMG03B will always clash with computer graphics TMG2B. And if you choose another session for computer graphics, you will have to make way for TIS, and so you can only take TIS TMG04. TIS TMG04 will occupies the slot TMG03B.

etc...

Program only considers all subjects when generate matches. Only valid matches is shown. I hope you understand.

我还提出一个问题，应该只是一些很小的问题：
有些科（像Malaysian study 和 moral and ethric）是给全部faculty的人拿的，他的group有分EC,TC and MC，但有些group能让别的faculty的人拿。今天我看了course detail inside the precourse registation for malaysian study，ec for engineering, tc for IT,but MC is for all。
at last, i wan to thx for you contribution.

那。。照样用seraphim先排。然后在你考虑要选哪一个timetable时，自己manually filter掉。

其实我发现mmu没有一个固定的standard.他们的session code也整天在换。
从我第一天开始做这program时，lecture和tutorial编排的algorithm已经改过好几次了。

我已经毕业了。这program不可能用至永远。我需要接班人(chehh~~)。
在此，我便release完这整个系统的source code。你们可以到Seraphim Repository下载。

MC 是开放给所有 faculty 的吗?

我想我发现bug... 我只有5个combination。而且有一科是只有一个secion（like tc103, oni ec103 it choose)，不可能他只给我们一个选择，那其它section要来干嘛？
而且我发现，当我们要再online system generate timetable的时候，次序好像有影响，因为当我把次序掉乱后，copy 后，click source > clipboard> save，nothing come out。but, after i choose some specify arrangement of the course from online system,the timetable generate proper again.
i think got some problem inside there。
我希望可以尽快fix好，因为我将要register course乐。

Sections that are not appearing in Seraphim might have been filtered by other taken subjects. There ARE some section that MIGHT collide with other subjects' sessions. Sections that cannot be taken by you, might be taken by other student with different subject combinations.

Can you give any example? So I can help checkout and debug.
So far, I've tried out with several melaka IT and cyber Engine's time.
Different arrangement has resulted in the same match count for me, which is correct.

the courses i choose are follow the course structure. if oni 1 section can choose, tat's mean the whole fit will oni have the 5 choices.

ok, cyberjaya mmu, u put pms1020 on top, den tcp1231, den tds1191 den five choice of timetable will come out. but when i reverse it, there's a problem

Thanks miltaij. I've recognized and fixed the problem.

A patch can be downloaded from the Seraphim Repository. The patch is highly recommended to anyone who has sessions starting with TC. Previous generated matches might have invalid combinations.

Just download the patch, and use the file inside to overwrite your installed files.

Personal note for miltaij:
Thanks for your effort. In this case [tc103] of tds is not selectable even though you do choose according to the course structure. Because there is only a session of tcp [tc101], and this session occupies the wednesday morning slot. Tds [tc103] happens to sit at the same slot. Tds [tc103] has to make way for tcp [tc101], and so, all lecture and tutorials belonging to tds [tc103] cannot be taken.

Thanks miltaij for discovering a bug in Seraphim. A must have patch for all people using Seraphim v1.10b2 who has session starting with TC2.

Patch v1.1b3 fixes:
- problem assigning tutorial starting TC to respective lecture; thus rendering limited (, and invalid) matches.
