We have some very sad news today. The puppy which was rescued from Taiping died at the Ipoh clinic where it had been admitted. The vets Dr Jean and Dr Kiev say that the puppy was born with congenital brittle bones and its spinal column was in spiral shape. It also had several fractures all over its body. They attribute the brittle bones to poor nutrition - perhaps this puppy was born to a starving stray. But how did it end-up at the oil palm estate? His condition was similar to that of our Mr Gwing who made it with TLC and good nutrition. Our only solace is that the puppy did not die hungry, thirsty and destitute. Thank you Dr Ong, Dr Jean, Dr Kiev, Peggy, PZ Gan, Chloe and Charmine. The biggest appreciation goes to the schoolboy Ong, who refused to give-up on the puppy. R.I.P puppy.
