刚刚上网查询，原来 “were” 是 “be” 的 past tense。。。 找到以下解释：
SubjunctiveThe subjunctive is a special, relatively rare verb form in English.
Structure of the SubjunctiveThe structure of the subjunctive is extremely simple. For all verbs except the past tense of be, the subjunctive is the same as the bare infinitive (infinitive without "to" )

但也有人的见解不同：
The version I was taught, which seems to make sense, is that you use the past subjunctive after if in order to express impossibilities. For example:
If I were you... If the moon were made of green cheese... If the result of 3+5 were 17...
However you use the indicative when the result is perfectly possible, such as:
If I was at home... If the moon was visible... If the result of a+b was 17... |
