谁说summer course不能申请？只要有Student Visa 就能申请了。。。至于那些没有申请student visa的summer course student就不能申请。。。这是学校通知我们的。。。

a Tier 1 (Post Study Work) Scheme
I'm sorry to have to tell you all that it won't be possible to extend yourstudent visas for a couple of months at the end of your course so thatyou could apply for the new Tier 1 (Post Study Work) scheme whilst inthe UK. As you've probably all heard the rules for the work scheme werechanged at the beginning of July 2008 and, of course, this was afteryou'd arrived. The change in rules was that all degree results have tobe sent at the time of posting the application. In the past we've beenable to send the results three weeks later than the originalapplication.
I'vebeen trying to get permission for you to apply to extend your visas asstudents for a couple of months but I've just heard that it won't bepossible.
This means that you will have to go home to Malaysia to apply for the scheme.
The good news is that, if you want to, you can go on holiday to Europe. This won't affect your application in your own country.
b Applications to extend your student visa for masters study
Anyonewho wants an extension to study a masters course, either startingSeptember 2008 or January 2009, is able to do so before the expiry dateof their present visa. The Home Office will keep your application andpassport until your results and unconditional offer are available. Thevisa extension forms are available from Student and Academic Services,Floor 5, Owen Building.
2 TO ALL MALAYSIAN SUMMER SCHOOL STUDENTS NOT HOLDING STUDENT VISAS (I.E A VISA STAMP GIVEN AT THE AIRPORT)
I'm sorry to have to tell you all that under the new rules of the Tier 1(Post Study Work) scheme graduates of UK courses won't be able to gohome to their own country and apply for a visa to work after theirstudies unless they had a student visa whilst they studied. This waspossible in the past under the International Graduates Scheme (IGS) butchanges were made to the rules. The system works by students accruingpoints as follows:
UK degree 20
Recognised University 20
Student holds a student visa 20
(leave to enter or remain)
Student applies within 12 months of degree 15
Studying in the English language 10
Must have available funds for 3 months 10 (800 GBP in the UK and 2,800 GBP outside UK)
