Paramount Discovery 以 RM 126.9 million 把 Innovative Groups 卖掉。
扣除当初 Paramount Discovery 投入 Innovative Groups 的 RM 88 million。
Paramount Discovery 大约赚了 RM37 million。

好象不能这么算的，还要计算这段时期Innovative Groups为AKN赚的钱。

这要看 Innovative Group 有没有把赚到的钱分给 AKN（发 dividend）。

由于无法确定，我假设 Innovative Group 把盈利 retain 起来了。

MEMS Technology to conduct special audit on accounts


PETALING JAYA: MEMS Technology Bhd's board of directors wants to conduct a special audit on its financial accounts as the company has overstated its revenue by 26.8% or RM19.7mil for the financial year ended July 31 (FY07).

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, MEMS Technology said its external auditor had expressed concerns over “certain transactions relating to revenue, property plant and equipment”.

“As a result of this, the unaudited consolidated revenue for the financial year ended July 31 will be revised to RM53.7mil.

This will consequently result in the unaudited net profit being reduced from RM21.47mil to RM13.45mil,” it said.

Under the listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia, MEMS Technology was required to furnish the audited financial statements FY07, within four months from the close of the financial year.

The company said it was not able to issue its audited financial statements by this Friday's deadline.

The board had resolved to appoint an independent committee comprising the company's independent directors to consider the matters highlighted by the external auditors, including the mandate to appoint a professional firm to carry out a special audit.

“The professional firm will report directly to the independent committee, comprising Zakaria Merican Osman Merican, Datuk Dr Mohamed Ariffin Aton, Dr Aziuddin Ahmad and Norazharuddin Abu Talib,” the company said in the statement.

MEMS Technology was in the midst of applying for a transfer to the Bursa Malaysia main board.

Part of the transfer requirements is to have an uninterrupted cumulative audited profit of at least RM30mil over three to five years and a minimum audited net profit of RM8mil for the most recent financial year.

看来我踩到地雷了。。。

我在科技热潮时有留意这股。会讲管理层不好是因为多年的管理层历史结论。
这类股起伏不定，东西是管理层讲了算，背后有炒家，除非现在有炒家要炒，不然长期投资肯定亏钱几率高过赚钱的机会。

管理层是我投资的第一个看的要点，如果不好，其他任何技术，基本，行业我是不会动的。这是我投资的纪律。我的钱只会投资在有诚信的管理层。我的任务就是在这么多有有诚信的管理层里选出最好的公司。

过去三个月来，除了加 RM1000 左右买了 AirAsia，其它组合完全没变。。。。。


卖出 AKN 是7月份的事。。。。。
另外，我也卖了 RUBHD。。。。

（吉隆坡）MEMS科技（MEMS，0052；MESDAQ科技組）以321萬6943令吉代價，向AKN科技（AKN，7068；主板科技組）的子公司購買一批原料存貨。

MEMS科技發文告說，上述原料將來生產、包裝和光學電子產品。另一方面，AKN科技的文告則指出，將用脫售所得供子公司償還債務。

07-10-2008: Bursa reprimands MEMS, fines six directors

PETALING JAYA: Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has publicly reprimanded MEMS Technology Bhd and its directors for breach of rules in relation to submission of its accounts and imposed fines totalling RM751,000 on six of the company directors.

MEMS Tech was also required to carry out a limited review performed by its external auditors on its quarterly report submission -- for four quarters.

In relation to the company’s breaches, its chief executive officer Kathirgamasundaram Sooriakumar, executive director and chief financial officer Tan Yeow Teck were slapped with fines of RM197,500 each.

Meanwhile, its non-independent and non-executive chairman Datuk Ahmad Kabeer Mohamed Nagoor, executive director Bryan Keith Patmon and non-independent and non-executive directors, Ooi Boon Leong and Lim Eng Thong were fined RM89,000 each.

Bursa Securites said MEMS Tech had breached the listing requirements as it had failed to submit its audited accounts and annual report for the financial year ended July 31, 2007 by Nov 30, 2007 and Jan 31, 2008 respectively.

The audited accounts and annual report were only submitted on April 23, 2008 and May 2, 2008 respectively. Further, the external auditors, KPMG had expressed a disclaimer opinion in the audited accounts and MEMS Tech was classified as a Guidance Note No 3/2006 company on April 28, 2008 based on the disclaimer.

MEMS Tech also failed to submit its quarterly report for the financial period ended Oct 31, 2007 and Jan 31, 2008 within the stipulated period.

Bursa Securities said MEMS Tech has also failed to take into account a 38.95% deviation in net profit in its fourth quarter results ended Dec 31, 2007, which was announced on April 28, 2008.

MEMS Tech had reported an audited net profit of RM13.11 million in FY2007 versus an unaudited net profit of RM21.47 million,

The deviation was mainly due to the reversal of RM19.72 million revenue arising from the board’s decision not to recognise the revenue after KPMG has expressed its concerns as announced on Nov 27, 2007.
