既然要学习知足，我就先学习割舍，在某些时候，捐款给没赚钱能力的人士，如残障儿童中心，老人院。然后，就算我赚了一些钱，我还是不会允许自己特别奢侈。
居安思危的同时，我也慢慢学习知足。 |

Analyst reaffirms Las Vegas Sands 'Buy' ratingDecember 15, 2008 11:03 AM ET
NEW YORK (AP) - Shares of Las Vegas Sands Corp. climbed Monday as a Goldman Sachs analyst maintained the casino operator's "Buy" rating due to its sharpened focus on cutting costs and lowering debt.
Last month, Las Vegas Sands completed an offering of common stock, preferred stock and warrants that provided about $2.1 billion of additional capital. The move more than doubled the number of outstanding shares and significantly diluted shareholder value.
The action also led its independent accountants, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, to state in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that the Las Vegas-based casino operator was no longer a going concern, as the capital infusion helped to erase worries about the Sheldon Adelson-led company's ability to continue to operate.
Steven Kent of Goldman Sachs said he was pleased that Las Vegas Sands has shifted its energy to boosting cash flow through cost cuts and deleveraging via Macau asset sales and targeted development, which includes opening its Sands Bethlehem casino in Bethlehem, Pa., and the $5 billion Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on time and on budget.
Kent, who met with Las Vegas Sands' management last week, said the company is looking to open the Sands Bethlehem site by May or June of 2009.
"We continue to think the company can navigate through the next couple of years leaving it in position to tap future growth opportunities (existing sites in Macau or other opportunities in Asia) with their proven conference/convention strategy or deleverage and generate significant free cash flow," he wrote in a note to clients.
Kent kept an $8.50 price target.
Las Vegas Sands said Friday it was cutting more than 200 workers from its Venetian and Palazzo casino-hotels on the Las Vegas Strip as part of an effort to save $100 million annually companywide. The cuts represent about 2 percent of the two casinos' 10,000-strong work force, it said. When the company suspended construction on casino projects around the world in November, about 11,000 workers lost their jobs, most in the Chinese island enclave of Macau.
Shares of Las Vegas Sands, which have lost 94 percent of their value so far this year, gained 32 cents, or 5.4 percent, to $6.26 in Monday morning trading. |

手痒，心理不正常的后果

昨晚美国早盘赢了一些，可是有些事情要做，所以没那么早睡。
理论上来说0340hrs 是不能投机的，因为距离闭市只有1h20min.
可是想到，波动依然还有的，又想到之前赢了些，不应该怕它。
所以就买入玩玩，衰到出不来。
这次的教训后，以后要坚持立场3点过后不投机。

週二，高盛集團公司(GS)宣佈，第四財季虧損22.9億美元，合每股4.97美元。這是該公司自1999年公開上市以來的首次虧損。
去年同期該公司盈利31.7億美元，合每股7.01美元。

我看美国股市：
16-12-2008 星期二 起 - 联储局降息 (再来就是加印美元， Quantitative Easing)
17-12-2008 星期三 起 - 白宫议决打救三车商。石油联盟减产。
星期四星期五还没看法。
或许升势会吸引基金经理来粉饰窗户吧。
还特别留意 HIG ，除了 15-12-2008 星期一 ，最近每天早盘都有人炒 10% 以上。
P/s: 星期二收市 HIG 升 23.69% 13.97 + 3.31 = 17.28
