SSN HAS COME A LONG WAY FROM $0.2 TO $4
When the first Williston Bakken (North Stockyard field) well was drilled in 2009, NO one has predicted it will be $4 in less than two years.
Now that North Stockyard is coming to the fully developed state, very soon, with 6 wells. The common Bakken wells avg 400--500 BOD after 30-day decline, SSN should get net 0.37 x 6 x 450 = 1000 BOD stable income to sustain its ND operation in the future. This makes it a good micro oiler.
The remaining NG fields in western WY are producing nicely, Green River Basin (GRB) has plenty of NG. The NG production can easily sustain SSN operations in GRB. This makes it a good micro gaser.
The Goshen cnty Niobrara sale last year made an hefty $73M for SSN, the remaining 14K probable acres are to be de-risked (proven) by 4 new test wells (being applied). While the 4 already drilled Niobrara ORRI wells with CHK (2010) should be producing by now. But CHK & SSN kept very tight lips, Hmmmmmm.....
If the new Niobrara test wells come in nicely, then a good sale may be repeated. Instead of spending $5M per well drilling and completion for 100 BOD production flow (like many older wells), a $30M sale would be great for a micro oil/gas producer. |
