需求只增不減‧油價轉入長期牛市

（吉隆坡28日訊）通貨膨脹與中東北非供應受阻風險促使油價續“狂飆亂舞”，惟分析員認為，全球石油需求“扶搖直上”才是高油價長期“幕後推手”，油市在2011年自週期性復甦轉向結構式牛市下，2012年料陷入“供不應求”窘境，引領油價長期“牛氣衝天”。

油盟多餘產能越來越少

聯昌研究預見，非石油輸出國組織的汽油需求量在未來數年節節攀升，這些區域的供應成長不足將迫使石油輸出國組織（OPEC，油盟）多餘的產能走低，令供應更具挑戰。

聯昌估計，油盟2013年的多餘產能，或自每日500萬桶跌至300萬桶以下。

油盟產能節節敗退，聯昌相信，油市在2011年自週期性復甦轉向結構式牛市，並自2012年“大行起道”，因而預見油價持續飆漲。

“這可能影響供應與需求的平衡，並重演2006至2008年的情景，牛市自供應過剩轉向供應短缺。”聯昌強調，油田新發現限與汽油生產區不穩定的營運困境，更進一步推動需求領先供應。

值得一提的是，在政治動亂未引發前，英國布蘭特（Brent）與迪拜油價已打破每桶90美元，聯昌相信，高油價趨勢早已反映了汽油生產成本帶來的通膨與市場長期面臨結構式供應短缺。

基於需求走高、通膨與供應陷困風險推高油價三大“禍首”，聯昌上調2011年油價預測，自每桶95美元調高到105美元，2012至2013年從每桶100美元調升10至11%，到110美元；2013年後的長期油價預測，自每桶85上修到90美元。

今年油價狂飆
中東政治動盪引起

聯昌表示，中東政治動盪引起的石油溢價、日本地震海嘯與核能危機促使中期需求擴大，是導致油價今年狂飆的主力。

“2012至2013年的高油價‘推手’，來自供應吃緊將支撐油價高企，主要是油盟騰出的石油產能，需應付日益上揚的需求成長。”

聯昌指出，石油需求在2010年走高至每日240萬桶已超越市場預期，更創下新高紀錄，若油價平均為每桶110美元，預見需求分別在2011與2012年，取得每日150萬與170萬桶的穩健成長。

“儘管今明年需求較去年低，石油增長步伐遠超2007年的增幅每日100萬桶。”

聯昌認為，除非油價衝破每桶130美元令需求“打退堂鼓”的水平，否則在2012年以前，需求仍將加速並引領油價保持在每桶100美元之上。

投機過度
油價恐超130美元

聯昌提到，油價短期波動主要是受投機交易與政治動亂影響，長期因通膨引發的成本效應與供應失衡。

隨短期內，汽油期貨水平已刷新高，攻破2007至2008年的巔峰，聯昌相信，這可能導致油價在近期急挫後，在未來2至3個月上揚。

聯昌相信，每年平均油價不太可能超過每桶110美元，不過一旦投機過度，油價或在未來2至3個月的上半年超越每桶130美元，但因該水平油價將擊退下半年的需求量，可能導致每年平均油價較預期低。

此外，若中東北非（MENA）的緊張局勢在未來2至3月內結束，並未波及5大石油出口國，油價料回到基本面正常的成本水平每桶90至100美元，促使2011年平均油價達每桶105美元。

能源石化歡喜
運輸愁

油價狂舞“有人歡喜，有人愁”，聯昌上調能源與石油化學類股目標價，但基於燃料成本高居不下，而下調運輸業盈利。

油價長期看漲為石油化學業務盈利造好，聯昌調高國油化學（PCHEM, 5183, 主板工業產品組）目標價高達38%至10令吉。

聯昌指出，航空業以馬航（MAS, 3786, 主板貿服組）首當其衝，2011至2013年的盈利削減幅度高達13至49%，反觀亞洲航空（AIRASIA, 5099, 主板貿服組）傷害較輕，下調幅度僅3至12%。

儘管如此，聯昌仍對航空業維持“加碼”評級，歸功於未來數年的全球經濟成長依舊強勁。

聯昌對船務業保持“中和”，礙於燃料成本預計水漲船高，下修領域盈利預測。

Anadarko Announces Discovery Offshore Ghana

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) today announced a deepwater discovery at the Teak-2 prospect, located in the West Cape Three Points Block offshore Ghana. The Teak-2 exploration well encountered approximately 90 net feet of high-quality oil, condensate and natural gas pay in stacked Campanian- and Turonian-age reservoirs.


"The Teak-2 discovery is another confirmation of our geologic model that adds to the substantial resource potential of the area and extends the success of our multi-well exploration program on the West Cape Three Points Block," said Bob Daniels, Anadarko Sr. Vice President, Worldwide Exploration. "We are very pleased with the results encountered in this discovery, which will be further evaluated with future appraisal activity. We continue to work with our partners and the Republic of Ghana to advance our exploration and appraisal programs, as well as the increasing number of development opportunities in both the West Cape Three Points Block and adjacent Deepwater Tano License."

The Teak-2 well was drilled to a total depth of 11,185 feet in water depths of approximately 2,900 feet. The well is approximately 5,900 feet southwest and fault separated from Teak-1, and approximately two miles northeast of the Mahogany-2 well. After preserving the well at Teak-2 for future use, the partnership plans to mobilize the rig to drill the Banda prospect, also located in the West Cape Three Points Block.

Samson Oil & Gas Limited (ASX: SSN) (NYSE AMEX: SSN) provides a progress report on the Rodney #1-14 well. (Samson 26.3% working interest) Since the Company’s last report, the 16 th and final stage of the stimulation was pumped, for a total of 1.7 million pounds of proppant placed in the well.

Market Activity

Flow back operations commenced on March 23 rd. This flow back is being undertaken with 15 individual frac plugs in place, these are required to facilitate the fraccing operations. The flow back is being controlled by design to ensure the proppant remains in place. The rate is therefore restricted down hole and is not representative of an initial production rate, which can only be determined after the frac plugs have been drilled out. This operation (planned as part of the completion) will be undertaken by the work over rig that is presently scheduled to be on site next week.

Even though the flow rate may not be representative, the restricted flow back results are nevertheless very encouraging, with a maximum oil rate of 1320 BOPD being recorded. During the flow back operations, the water rate has reduced from an initial rate of 2800 BWPD to 470 BWPD. This decreased water rate is commensurate with an initial water cut of 86% reducing to a water cut of 48%. It is expected that the water cut will continue to reduce to around 25%. Gas rates have varied between 1.38 mmcfpd to 0.9 mmcfpd

Oil sales commenced immediately and the gas sales line was connected after 4 days of flaring, so both products are already being marketed and generating cash flow.

Samson’s Ordinary Shares are traded on the Australian Securities Exchange under the symbol "SSN." Samson's American Depository Shares (ADSs) are traded on the New York Stock Exchange AMEX under the symbol "SSN." Each ADS represents 20 fully paid Ordinary Shares of Samson. Samson has a total of 1,996 million ordinary shares issued and outstanding (including 277 thousand options exercisable at AUD 1.5 cents), which would be the equivalent of 99.8 million ADSs. Accordingly, based on the NYSE AMEX closing price of US$3.65 per ADS on March 29 th, 2011 the Company has a current market capitalization of approximately US$358.9 million. Correspondingly, based on the ASX closing price of A$0.175 on March 29 th, 2011, the Company has a current market capitalization of A$344.9 million. The options have been valued at their closing price of A$0.16 on March 29 th, 2011 and translated to US$ at the current exchange of 1.0256 for purposes of inclusion in the US$ market capitalization calculation.
