Nam Fatt Corporation Berhad ("the Company") is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Nam Fatt Construction Sdn Bhd has been awarded by ZAQ Construction Sdn Bhd with the Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of a Petroleum Hub and Bunkering Facility at the Reclaimed Island within Mukim Serkat, Daerah Pontian near the port of Tanjung Pelepas, Johor (Sub-Contract Works Packages 4, 7 & 9) and (Procurement Sub-Contract to Supply and Deliver Long Lead Items for Package 4) ("the Said Projects") for an estimated Sub-Contract Sum of RM350 million and RM203 million respectively.
ZAQ Construction Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the managing contractor by Asia Petroleum Hub Sdn Bhd pertaining to the Said Projects.
The contract value and details of the Said Projects shall be finalised upon receipt of detailed design drawings and specifications from Asia Petroleum Hub Sdn Bhd; and the Company and ZAQ Construction Sdn Bhd shall negotiate accordingly. This project is expected to contribute positively to the results of the Company for the future financial years.

None of the directors nor substantial shareholders of the Company, or persons connected with them, has any interest, direct or indirect, in this project.

This announcement is dated 27 March 2007.
