BRIEF-Goldman Sachs cuts Sime Darby target

Goldman Sachs (nyse: GS - news - people ) cuts Sime Darby target to 3.60 rgt from 3.95 rgt.

BRIEF-Sime Darby cut to sell by Hwang DBS

Nov 30 (Reuters) - Sime Darby Bhd:
* Cut to sell from fully valued by Hwang DBS.


* We have lowered all of Simes segment profit expectations, as our previous forecasts had underestimated the severity of the global financial crisis impact on Simes business segments. We highlight the steep 1Q FY09 drop in property segments operating profit, as well as those of motor distribution segments in Malaysia and Australia. While Industrial revenues still exhibit strong growth, we believe the steep drop in the price of extractives and properties since September should have a slowdown on heavy equipment usage. Simes FY09 and FY10 net profits forecasts were consequently slashed by 29.8% and 13.4% to RM1,981.9m and RM1,827.7m, respectively.
* Since our call downgrade to Fully Valued on 13 October 2008, the stock has dropped by 11.4%, and is currently trading at 17.7x our revised FY09F EPS (i.e. at 49% premium to Wilmars current forward PE of 11.9x), which makes Sime the most expensive counter in the sector. We still see significant downside risk to the counters price in the near term. Despite Simes well-diversified business model, almost all of the groups businesses are now moving in tandem, hence rapidly diminishing any relative immunity against the drop in CPO prices. With PE target pegged to 10.8x CY09 EPS, our TP is now revised down to RM3.50 from RM4.45.

两者差别是也是指数股一个不是--而作为指数最大比重相对的股价也容易被操控至预计索要达到指数指标目的--暂时判断我们欲收关在900上--那么现在的跌幅要多少来制造可观的3天到5天的明显大幅度涨势聂？？788-820--回升120点左右收关900[31-12-2008]--而明年要怎么跌怎么起是明年的事了--个人很主观的天马行空的说

是不是因为刚公布的GNP？

那些数据是大家早知道的--放出来的布局目的我也猜不透--只有一个乐观可能--为了年底橱窗粉刷--第四季的跌幅巴仙控制--最后一个月的漂亮收关。。。先跌后扬-比如-3%回升+4%=12月[四季以来-单月]出现1%左右的涨势收关。。。只是个人猜测。。。

往好的方面看这股处在低价而若明年政府工程开跑--先前其所包揽最大的各类工程将造就目前起价位回升至8。000将是很可观的回酬。。。这是站在乐观的立场考量--当初把它弄成我国股市最大市值不是让他来拖垮股市的说。。。

我上個星期四5.55進了 (應該是吧。。)
