In response to criticism for sticking with the five-speed, Honda’s answer was along the lines of Our five is damn good. The customers wanted efficiency gains, we gave them efficiency gains. We appreciate the philosophy of extracting greater efficiencies from existing hardware before creating all-new systems, but we’d like to know how many of those customers also asked for a slower vehicle.

Our single biggest complaint covers the Honda CR-V’s new electric power steering system. It may save fuel but it is disconnected from the road and requires too much sawing as you work your way around the corners. Too bad, as the overall ride is reasonably pleasant with relatively little body roll.

Should I buy one?
Current owners will likely appreciate the functionality and efficiency but the 2012 Honda CR-V will face a tough challenge regaining its sales lead from competitors like the equally all-new Ford Escape (to be sold as the Kuga in Europe).

看来honda祸不单行。。civic过了到现在crv

这个门板看得出应该很大片hard plastic除了中间那个portion之外。。而且感觉上很bare的feel

honda 6 speed 超级贵的咯 好像人家的8 speed 这样，要最贵的车才有

crv这次内装的确
meter 不配， air vent 如果放silver or chrome会比较好
虽然不给Gated，只少也给leather wrap 拉

是咯... 他们这样分开trim level成本不是更高咩... 要生产两种不同的东西Focus的low spec真的很难看

内装符合新世代Honda风格
我觉得现在的cluster比较美咯... 至少有一点蓝色光圈和比较大的MFD... 幸好中间还有一个colour mini lcd

就像 new civic 那么烂，美国销量还是很 ok

而且背后也没有另外研发。。a-vtec久久还不要退出。。真的是要放在legend/accord flagship model上身。。
而且现在的suspension也跑去学toyota注重comfort。。唯一的诚意是new crv价位不变

dream for power 差不多

a-vtec等什么啦，武器都给mitsu用了，现在拿出来根本没有用，而且honda到目前都没有dual cvvt叻

crv 是第3次Carry foward engine 和Transmission
civic也不是第一次carry forward,第7代的2.0 和第8代是同一系列的

Honda的supply chain似乎相当脆弱... 之前日本地震Honda比Toyota和Nissan都要慢恢复... 现在泰国也是比Toyota严重
没关系Honda的牌子还是很响... 很多人还是会支持

Instead of the previous 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine, it will use a 2.0-litre turbo designed to comply with Euro V emissions regulations. A similar engine will feature in Honda’s 2012 British Touring Car Championship challenger. Just as VW hiked power with its latest Golf GTI, so Honda will increase the Type R’s output – but not by much. A figure of 210bhp would allow a 0-62mph time of less than 6.5 seconds and a top speed approaching 150mph.

In a break from tradition that matches the turbocharged Ford Focus ST – a key competitor for the Type R – Honda will offer the car as a five-door only. Prices are expected to start from around &pound;23,000 when it arrives in 2013

不过us current crv依然是segment top seller咧。。
本地crv依然是seg首选之一。。也算是蛮complete的package。。适合大众口味喜爱
