在许多人的体验中,苹果公司的产品在使用上是力求精简的。(当然你也可以持反对的答案或意见,因为这也涉及口味和个性的议题。)
你的疑问我也问过自己,也还没找到最完整的答案。关于iOS不能支持Adobe Flash,这是我找到比较可以接受的答案:

The reason for why Flash is not incorporated into iOS has been deliberated by engineers for over 4 years now. The reason is simply this: Flash is a run-time engine for drawing vector (mathematically/computationally intensive) graphics, and it does this in a device-independent manner to the benefit of a JavaScript-ish runtime called ActionScript. Not a very fast architecture! The problem is that Flash poses many layers of abstraction that saps so much CPU power in order for it to get its work done, and hence, it is not a very efficient drawing architecture. The goal of Flash is device-independent drawing... the goal of iOS is efficient power consumption and performance on low-power devices. That is, the two have mutually exclusive target goals, and one cannot co-exist without substantial costs to the other. Being Apple, they opted for their own goals. So, would you rather have an iPad that runs for 10 hours on a charge, or run Flash on your iPad for maybe a couple of hours? Once you have made that decision, you can go buy the gadget you want. 如果这个答案是相对正确的,这反映一个苹果公司的处理事情的态度: “如果不够好,就直接不要去做。”
这点和当年苹果iMac去除软碟(Floppy Disk)的做法有点接近。 这种不随波逐流的做法,多年后被证实是有利于使用者的。
自建手机铃声的使用困难也可能是如上面的解答,MP4的格式最有利于硬体的配合。也有可能是苹果的另一个一贯作风: “力求保护智慧财产权。”
在我个人的体验看来,这两个缺陷还不至于让我感到厌恶。 其中一个原因是整体好感的因素较多。
