简称scv~
是整个sci comp中较活跃的major
有间特别给scv的学生玩xbox, wii的房间
不过嘛，我朋友说，每个sem的cgpa要过3.0，然后好像不可以有B以下的科目，不然要retake~
3scv是很多华人的，是全3rd year sci comp里最多的 |

欢迎学弟，我也是这主修，开学博三
1gb graphic card 足足有余
基本上这科需要用到的电脑不需要太强
computer science应该是就业率最高的吧我想
每年平均毕业后的成功就业率好像是维持在95%，而且平均薪水是RM2300
这远比其他工程系好很多
有个很经典的例子是，我同学毕业了两年，换了六份工，平均薪水都在RM2500左右
而且都是一找就有哦！感觉上这科没有找不到工的问题 |

如果是死背书型的学生在这一科会比较痛苦
主要还是平时的功课要用心去做，完成老师的要求就ok了
（大部分科目都是coursework占70%；exam占30%）
记忆中我每次考试都是随意轰炸
不死的ProG：
他们希望学生毕业的时候至少CGPA都能在3或以上
所以如果你没能完成B以上会被要求retake
这也是为了方便你们以后升学、找工 |

这一课会跟你的印象不太一样
比如说image processing这一课，
它不是教我们怎样用photoshop, paint...之类的；
但是会教我们photoshop里的功能是运用什么理论，
然后final project就要求把这些理论都结合起来，写出自己版本的photoshop |

别担心。。。大学里学长会指导你们。。而且教授会抽空帮你们的。。有什么不懂跟他做appointment ...

不会很难，只是接近sem尾时，会有比较多的project/assignment一起来
上个sem你的senior们都挨了几次通宵的说
第一年还好啦，先看适应到吗 |

For my batch, we only have 3.5 year ( 7 semester ), while the new batch have 4 year ( 8 semester )..
I stay in KTR, block K11..
Laptop can buy later don't need to rush.. |

yes, u can change your college every year.. There will be a online session for college hostel registration..If u got "quota" for your college, u have the advantage of getting back your own current college than the others student..
U can get "quota" by getting involve in college club, university sport, etc..
For your laptop, I suggest u guys & girl buy from Taman Universiti, as it is easier to seek warranty if there's any problem...
In additional, is better to discuss among your group of friends about buying laptop "together at a time in one shop" to get more discount...
If u seek for free additional years of warranty, U need to wait till PC Fair and buy from there (Persada Convention Center, Johor Bharu).
Software wise, plenty of "pirate" DVD selling around Taman Universiti, or u can get from your senior or FSKSM ftp server. |

If u wan to change course within the same faculty,U need to have strong reason for it.
It is not simply change course procedure, you will need to get permission from your current head department,
then the issue will bring forward to faculty Timbalan Dean Academic for discussion during their monthly meeting.
Once approve only can change your course. Percentage of chances is little.
If u're thinking change course to another faculty, (e.g: Com.Sci --> Engineering)
I think that is almost impossible, as they already pick u up for the course during student selection session with other IPTA around.
You may try ask Pejabat Hal Ehwal Pelajar regarding this matter. |
