如果沒有working experience，可能會比較難。讀ICAEW需要mature thinking。
不過我有認識一些人SPM畢業後就去Sunway讀CFAB，大概一年後就可以讀ICAEW，他們除了上學讀書，也有短期去big 4 practice. 有些人考得還挺好的。所以難不難，是看你個人的。

我現在讀CAT，計劃ACCA畢業工作幾年後讀ICAEW。不是為了頭銜什麼的，只是純粹喜歡讀書而已。

你果然很喜欢读书。我现在拿到ACCA，也很懒惰再拿其他的qualification了，因为如果在commercial立足，ACCA已经很足够了！

那個，我還不知道啊，連ACCA都沒畢業。而且也是看個人進度的。
不過我知道念了CFAB再升ICAEW的話，在Sunway Uni standard 好像是5年左右吧。

考试两个都难啦, 都需要硬碰硬, 看各人的想法吧。。。

ICAEW 比较麻烦, 要做 articleship, 在 ICAEW's ATO 工作三年 and the final paper, case study module must be attempted in the final year of training contract

ICAEW 也变成为 open door admission policy 。。。


大大如果您想計劃 ACCA 畢業后, 工作幾年后, 再拿 ICAEW >>> 那您工作三年, 拿到 ACCA membership 后, 再等五年的 ACCA full membership, 就可以拿 ICAEW membership 啦, 不用考 ICAEW

如果您想計劃 ACCA 畢業后, 一边工作一边报考 ICAEW, 最好拿 ACCA optional 的 1) P6 and 2) P7, 不然的话, 没有 exemptions for ICAEW's papers, 1) Taxation and 2) Audit and assurance, 要 taken and passed F9, if only converted pass in F9, 就需要拿 optional 的 P4 for the exemption of ICAEW's paper, Financial management

Based on ACCA 2007 Syllabus from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), you might be eligible to apply for the following credit(s):

1. Accounting
F3 Financial Accounting

2. Assurance
F8 Audit and Assurance

3. Business and Finance
F1 Accountant in Business

4. Law
F4 Corporate and Business Law

5. Management Information
F2 Management Accounting
F9 Financial Management

6. Principles of Taxation
F6 Taxation

7. Audit and Assurance
P7 Advanced Audit and Assurance

8. Business Strategy
P3 Business Analysis

9. Financial Accounting
F7 Financial Reporting

10. Financial Management
Taken and passed F9 Financial Management or if you have received a converted pass in F9 you will also need paper P4 Advanced Financial Management

11. Financial Reporting
F7 Financial Reporting
P2 Corporate Reporting

12. Taxation
P6 Advanced Taxation

这样的话, 您就能 exempted for ICAEW 前面 12 papers 而一边工作三年一边考最后 3 papers。。。

ICAEW 有 15 papers , professional stage 12 papers, advanced stage 3 papers, 请看 http://www.icaew.com/en/qualifications-and-programmes/aca/aca-training-in-the-uk/exams

前面 12 papers, 是 exempted by paper to paper basis, 如果您是 ACCA affiliate via normal route, 请看 #28, 如果您是 ACCA affiliate via exemption route, 就如同 #20 龟龟龟大大说的, 要拿之前 apply for ACCA exemption 的 papers + ACCA 考的 papers 来 apply for the ICAEW exemption

Advanced stage 3 papers, 在 ICAEW's ATO 工作三年 and the final paper, case study module must be attempted in the final year of training contract

要快的话, 您可以 deliver by hand to ACCA office (bank draft 是 guaranteed payment, unlike the cheque) or 不能 deliver by hand, 就 credit card online 还而那个 bank draft (should be 6 months validity period), 就 later post to ACCA office for next year subscription fee (早还, 不懂有没有 discount ), 如您不想早还, 就 cancel the bank draft and waste the bank draft charge (不懂有没有 cancellation charge)

可以等的话, then post to ACCA office and make a call to follow up

謝謝所有的info，很有用
我還沒決定P level optional paper拿哪張，考完F level才打算。不過，目前對Taxation很有興趣，Audit就差一點點。

ICAEW 当然需要给, 它又不是 charity organisation

不一定是 FCCA, 只要 you are a current qualified member of ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, MICPA, CPA Australia or AICPA with at least five years’ full membership and post qualification experience, you may be eligible to apply under the pathways to ICAEW membership programme
