古晋是否需要地下贯通？口型行人天桥？大伙觉得？

我倒是喜欢口型天桥， 可以把它做到美一点的， 加一点可以点缀的灯饰， 除了可以成为Landmark 之外， 也是可以给人在上面观看景色。 ...

马来西亚的天气是不适合建地下人行道的。

地下人行道这么深，ventilation要怎么解决？
中国的气候和我们不一样。香港也有很多地下人行道，夏天的时候走在人行道就像走在烘炉一样，而且还到处漏水。
新加坡的Orchard Road也有地下人行道，从Tangs link 去　Wheelock Place, Shaw and Ion。那是有冷气的。就算有冷气，有时我走过也会觉得闷热。而且maintenance fee谁付？Orchard那个还好，人潮汹涌。古晋你能保证长期有人使用吗？

与其建地下人行道，我觉得倒不如种多一点树。古晋的街上是没有行人的，我觉得这样不像一座城市。城市是应该有路人，有街景 -- urban spectacle。在古晋你只看到车。
为什么没有行人？那是因为商圈都距里太远了，就好像Los Angeles一样，太spread out，不够集中。应该在商圈与商圈之间建一些公共摄氏，fill up the gaps.

另外就是天气太热了，没人愿意嗮太阳。所以应该多种点树，像新加坡一样，走在街上就算没打伞都ok.　其实z这个做法是延续巴黎Hausmann‘s urban planning，在大道两旁种满大树。

很可惜古晋现在的作风越来越“西马城市化”，看到树就斩。毫无远见。Low taste.

我看到 the spring 路口及对面有人在做测量了。
但不知是否为建设地下通道/天桥作准备？

Dear XXXXXX,

Thank you for your email dated 7 November 2009 concerning the above
mentioned subject.

I wish to inform you that the approval of the State Planning Authority
has to be obtained for the construction of overhead pedestrain
bridges. My comments on your proposals for overhead pedestrian bridges
are as follows: -

(1) Across Jalan Simpang Tiga to connect the Spring shopping complex
to the shophouses opposite.

   --- The road is under JKR however the Council had recently wrote to
JKR to submit for funding under the 10th Malaysia Plan to construct an
underpass across the road.

(2) Across Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman to connect Tun Jugah Centre to
Sarawak Plaza.

   --- The Council had a few yaers ago proposed to the management of
the two complexes to comstruct a pedestrian overhead bridge to connect
the 1st floor of both buildings. However the management were not in
favour of the proposal due to security reasons. As an alternative, the
Council has provided a traffic light signal pedestrian crossing at the
location.

(3) Across Jalan Datuk Tawi Sli to connect the Boulevard Shopping
Complex to the shophouses opposite.

   --- The area involved is under the jurisdiction of Padawan
Municipal Council.

ST3 应该要有一个接去Spring. 而且要大到像新加坡那种。从A mall 进去，B, C, D mall 出来。还有冷气，又不必晒太阳。爽。

    现在的天桥真的是令我大失所望。就普通的天桥一个。应该建像KL那样的啦。有冷气，有商店。

   spring做麼不要與st3合作..把天橋接通...

最好就是像kl 那個,從klcc 通到 pavilion那種...不用日曬雨淋/塞車....那這邊就做 spring - st3 - cityone
