看了，什么阶段先发展呢？
是购物广场吗？ 对面的mjc的sky villa开始建了吗？
那里以后会是skyscaper的热点 |

店屋优先，随后应该是购物广场。
MJC的共管公寓已经开始建了。 |

Kuching City Mall to be completed in 2011
KUCHING: The Kuching City Mall, once completed, will bring entertainment, shopping convenience and other services to the neighbourhood in a classy manner, in tandem with the demands of modern lifestyle.
Kuching City Mall is located along Jalan Datuk Amar Kalong Ningkan and is expected to be completed in 2011.
It is sited in the neighbourhood of Taman Desa Wira, a stone’s throw away from MJC and Jalan Stephen Yong and 10 minutes drive from the heart of the city.
The project sprawls 103 acres of mixed development and will also soon be the landmark of Padawan district.
Within a five-kilometre radius of this project are established and mature townships with a total popu-lation of more than 300,000.
The major landmarks located within sight are the Kuching International Airport, Four Points Sheraton Hotel, Green Heights Richman Hill, BDC commercial centre, Hui Sing Garden, Timberland Medical Specialist Centre, Sentosa Township and Batu Kitang Light Industrial Zone.
The project will spring to life with the initial phase of two-storey lifestyle shopping malls flanked by blocks of different types of shops on a five-acre site. It will offer customers unprecedented retail experien-ces as well as wide varieties and ranges of goods, services, restaurants and entertainment facilities.
In subsequent phases, hundreds of modern-concept residential houses will be built to cater to all kinds of tastes and requirements as well as all levels of society.
Three quarters of the ground floor of the shopping mall will be occupied by a high performance hypermarket, making available a staggering array of household provisions for families to shop in comfort.
An open market will provide a chance for customers to shop in a free flowing fresh atmosphere and a food court will beckon customers to the smell of various local and interna-tional favourite dishes.
The two-podium suite apartments with a swimming pool built on the rooftop will act as part of the facilities designed to provide the residents a better place to stay. Private car parks are provided to ensure safety and privacy.
The three-storey and single storey lock-up commercial lots in several independent blocks opposite the open market of the shopping complex and a landscaped pedestrian walkway in between two rows of wider frontage shops will add punch and vigour to the commercial centre.

PWP sets more take ups for Kuching City Mall
May 27, 2010, Thursday
KUCHING: Property marketeer PWP Properties (S) Sdn Bhd (PWP) is gearing up for high take up rates for commercial and residential units within the Kuching City Mall project near 4th Mile here.
BUSTLING: Kuching City Mall’s shophouses are envisaged to become the pulse of a new enterprising commercial hub in the city.
The project was spearheaded by Kuching City Mall Developments Sdn Bhd (Kuching City Mall), of which PWP Properties is its marketing arm.
According to project manager Victor Wong, the commercial development involved 89 units of three-storey shophouses while residential estate comprised a total of 659 units of modern semi-detached and terrace houses.
“For the shophouses, it’s 75 per cent near completion, with some portions of the lots having already reached advanced finishing stages. For the residential portion, works for phase one and two will commence this July, with expected completion date within two years’ time.
“The project sits on a 103 acre piece of land and consists of 15 phases of development. Phases five, six, seven and 15 are slated for commercial use while the rest will all be residential.
“Total GDV (gross development value) for the project would be close to RM500 million,” he told reporters during a media briefing yesterday.
Wong added that Kuching City Mall represented its largest project yet, pointing out that it was inspired by the highly successful Kota Kinabalu City Mall (KK City Mall) which was fully-completed a year ago.
“KK City Mall was our biggest undertaking in Sabah, with construction costs of around RM100 million. But Kuching will be even bigger,” he continued. [古晋的城市广场将会比沙巴州的城市广场更大型。]
At the same time, Wong also announced that there would be an official launch of its residential units at its 4th Mile site tomorrow by Kuching City Mall’s chairman Datuk Wong Hee Toh.
“Post-launch, we’ll be pushing our efforts towards the sales of these residential units, which I believe represent a premium investment for buyers given its strategic location and access, upcoming nearby commercial developments as well as other services that cater for good living.
“For our commercial shophouse units, we’ve already achieved about 75 per cent take up rate,” he concluded.
