The Sabretooth #1 well is currently producing at a constrained rate of 3.5 mmcfgd and 40 bopd on 5/64 choke setting with 9000#s FTP and holding steady. Estimated mean reserves for this well have been calculated at 10-12 BCFG with an upside of 20 BCFG

. Each prospect has reserves between 1 and 2 BCFG and are located at shallow depths which means lower drilling costs. Samson hopes to drill these prospects in the third and fourth quarters of 2009.

i m looking at $3 with 80million shares O/S ..

the sale of the land alone is $1 + the 4.8% royalty fee is $.50 - 24,000 acres alone is worth $1.50. The other 16,000 acres is about .75 - $1 value.

Niobrara Land alone is worth $2.25- $2.50 alone.

How I get the $.50 from the 4.8% royalty fee ...

The long term ultimate recoverable reserves (EUR's) in Niobrara wells is still unknown, so I take the Nobles "Gemini Well" and Eog's "Jake Well" - Both produced over 60,000 boe during their initial sixty days of production - Samson is conservativley projecting 250,000 boe EUR's per well

# of Wells - 150 (Samson Projects about 150 wells on 24k Acres)
EUR Per Well - 250K BOE
Estimated Net Price/bbl - $60
Samson's ORRI - 4.8%

150 wells x 250K boe X $60 Per bbl x Samson's 4.8% ORRI = $108 Million dollars

$108M / 80M fully diluted shares after completion of the share offering equals $1.35 per share potential value from the 4.8% ORRI.

The $.50 per share projections is a conservative estimates based on the $1.08 per share potential value from the 4.8% ORRI

It's Even Bigger Than It Seems - Looks at SSN

Small cap Samson Oil & Gas Limited are poked and prodded.

Don't get me wrong - I'm impressed by what we're seeing unfold on the daily chart of Samson Oil & Gas Limited (ADR) (AMEX:SSN). If you really want something to get excited about though, check out a weekly chart of this small cap stock - we're seeing a major breakout in the works.

The long-term trading range for Samson Oil & Gas Limited is framed in blue on the chart below. Though we've seen a few temporary moves above the ceiling at $0.78 (thick, blue - the orange line is a minor ceiling), none of them lasted, as none of them were started under healthy conditions..... until now. Though I'm certain we'll see SSN reeled in a little after today's crazy jump, the bigger move to news highs kicked off with a better-founded (with consolidation around $0.60) start than prior ones have. As long as $0.61 or so holds as a floor, this is one to buy on the dips.

Right on the monrey Ruth. Samson can actually triple and still be undervalued.

Samson will have only 80M total shares o/s after the stock offering or 97M shares on a fully diluted basis.

This 97M fully diluted shares at the current price of only $.90 equates to Samson currently being priced at a total total market cap of only $87.3M even on a fully diluted basis.

This $87.3M market cap combined with Samson's net debt (total debt less cash)subsequent to the share offering of less than $3M has the entire company currently only being valued at a Total Enterprise value of only $90M even though they are selling only 24,000 net acres of their Niobrara for $79M in cash and also retaining a non cost bearing 4.8% ORRI on this entire 24,000 net acres.

IMO Samson's share price would haved jumped to $1.50 or above on Friday when the acreage sale was announced if not for the $4.2M ongoing rights offering portion of the original $8.4M share offering.

After the $4.2M offering Samson will have $8.4M in additional cash, will be closing on the 24,000 acres and receiving $79M in cash in one month and more importantly will be receiveing in excess of $1.50 per share in value for only this 24,000 net acres ($1 cash + 4.8% ORRI net present value) vs the curent $.90 per share price.

I firmly believe that Samson's share price would have jumped to $1.50 or above on Friday if the share offering was not ongoing and believe the true current net present value of Samson is in excess of $3 per share.


IMHO when this binding agreement on only 24,000 net acres of Samson's Niobrara acreage closes July 26th the Samson share price should escalate to the $3 range.
