（吉隆坡12日讯）海峡物流（Straits Inter Logistics Bhd）子公司签署了一项协议备忘录（MoA），以2045万令吉现金向Hibiscus Fuels Ltd购买一艘船龄13年，名为Poseidon的油轮。

海峡物流指出，鉴于目前业务规模较大，且处于扩张阶段，这项收购计划符合集团扩大资产基础的策略。

该集团今日向大马交易所报备，该协议是由SMF Ixora Ltd与Hibiscus Fuels签署。SMF Ixora是Straits Marine Fuel & Energy私人有限公司的独资子公司，即集团持股67%的子公司。

Poseidon提供加油服务，每月最多可承运约3万5000吨船用燃料。

海峡物流表示，根据独立注册估价师，这艘船的买价比市价低16.55%。

SMF Ixora计划在MoA签署之日起的60个月内，通过内部资金或银行贷款，完全以现金支付。

“Poseidon的加入，将扩大海峡物流及附属公司的资产基础，将为集团在开展业务活动时提供船舶分配和使用方面的灵活性。”

“此外，该船将租赁给SMF，主要满足船用燃料贸易需求，以及提供船用燃料仓储服务，同时目前拥有的9艘船将满足船用油气贸易和在大马提供船用油气仓储服务。”

海峡物流预计，Poseidon的使用将提高集团整体销量，进而推高集团未来的财务业绩。
