A Chinese statue of the Buddha dating back to around 1100 ADis more than just a statue --

it's the final resting place of a Buddhistmaster.

最近，荷兰研究人员给一座中国千年姿势佛像

做CT（电脑断层扫描），扫描结果发现身披金袍的佛像内部竟是一具真人身躯，还处于打坐状态。

Meander Medical Centre in Amersfoort,where it was subjected to a full CT scan and had samples taken

with anendoscope, under the supervision of Buddhist art expert Erik Brujin.

据英国《每日邮报》报导，荷兰德瑞特博物馆（DrentsMuseum）组成的研究团队,对一尊佛像进行电脑断层扫描（CT扫描），

尽管在扫描前研究人员已推知这是尊人身佛像，但扫描后才讶异发现，人体器官已经被取出，但骨骼仍相当完整。

更惊讶的是，还发现其体内藏有纸屑，写着一些中国文字。

is believed to be a Buddhist master named Liuquan of the ChineseMeditation School,

who died around 1100 AD.

该研究的领导人之一埃里克，是位佛教艺术和文化研究专家，在鹿特丹的博物馆任客座教授。

他说，这尊佛像是中国禅宗的得道高僧柳泉(译名，liuquan)。该尊佛像是现今仅存的唯一一

尊来自11世纪(宋朝)的佛像，也是唯一一尊中国佛教协会提供给西方研究的佛像。

这并不是首次发现将尸体包裹于佛像内部，不过根据内窥镜的检查，科学家还有一些新发现。

a gruellingprocess that involved a life of extreme austerity. It was believed by some thatmummification was

not death, but a highly advanced spiritual state, and byothers as a state of higher enlightenment.

相关报导说，在佛家认为是进入一个更完美的形态，对于一些佛教的信徒而言，他们认为佛像中的修炼者并没有死去，

只是进入到了另一种更高深的境界。

研究人员还将把木乃伊的骨材料，进行DNA检测，相关的研究，将以专题论文的形式发布。

〝柳泉佛像〞未来将被送往匈牙利的布达佩斯国家博物馆展出，直到2015年5月。

千年佛像裡　暗藏高僧的木乃伊

荷蘭科學家發現，一座有千年歷史的佛像，裡面竟裝著一具乾燥保存、如木乃伊的高僧遺體，更令他們吃驚的是，高僧的器官已被人移出體外。
英國《每日郵報》報導，荷蘭的「德倫特斯博物館」（Drents Museum）日前展開研究，對這座可能製作於西元11或12世紀的雕像，進行電腦斷層掃描與胃鏡檢驗，發現木乃伊的器官已被取出。

這項由佛教專家布魯金（Erik Bruijn）領導的研究推斷，這具木乃伊是古代高僧柳泉（音譯，Liuquan ）的遺體。在斷層掃描後，這具木乃伊將運至匈牙利首都布達佩斯，在匈牙利自然歷史博物館展出至今年5月。（林奐成／綜合外電報導）
