是咯，其实有注意新闻的网友应该都知道世卫将流感警戒升至最高第六级是迟早的事，因为A型流感的传染性很强(还好致命性不强)。

Flu pandemic: AmResearch maintains Buy on Top Glove, Kossan

KUALA LUMPUR: AmResearch is maintaining an Overweight call on the rubber gloves sector, with a Buy call on Top Glove Corp and Kossan Rubber Industries at fair values of RM6.70 and RM4.90 following the latest development in the influenza A (H1N1) virus.

The virus was declared the world’s first global influenza pandemic in 41 years, after the World Health Organisation (WHO) upgraded alert level to highest at Phase Six.

To date, there has been a total of 27,737 cases reported worldwide, including 141 deaths. While there are no casualties in Malaysia, total number of confirmed cases is now 11.

AmResearch said on June 12 that this bodes well for Top Glove Corp and Kossan given the need for greater vigilance and stricter measures by governments worldwide.

It said with the pandemic declaration, Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai announced more drastic measures including greater screening at entry points into the country and controlling human traffic from an affected township or village would be discussed at the National Inter-Ministerial Influenza Pandemic Committee, to be held next week.   


The research house said that it now appears that the influenza outbreak would last longer than initially thought, since the virus was firstly discovered back in mid-March in Mexico.  

"Recall, we had expected a rise in demand for examination rubber gloves since start of the outbreak. We now think there could be earnings surprise coming from continuous rising demand as a consequence to increased severity and prolonged manifestation of the virus attack.

"As such, we are not discounting possibility of an increase in global demand for rubber gloves to exceed +5%. Total annual consumption was estimated at 135 billion pieces last year," it said.

AmResearch said Top Glove had earlier guided an increase of approximately 6.5 billion pieces of gloves, based on their expectations and experience during the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome outbreak in March 2003.

Although both rubber glove manufacturers would benefit from this, it said Top Glove was in a more advantageous position as compared to Kossan.

"This is due to Top Glove’s low capacity utilisation rate of 75%-80% and higher product mix of more affordable latex examination gloves (non-powder and powdered).

"We are maintaining our earnings forecast at this juncture, pending Top Glove’s third quarter results scheduled for June 23. Reiterate BUY on both Top Glove (fair value: RM6.70 per share based on price-to-earnings PE of 13 times FY10F earnings) and Kossan (FV: RM4.90 per share based on PE of 11 times FY10F earnings)," it said.

（吉隆坡12日訊）隨著A（HINI）型流感晉陞為全球大流行疾病，市場預期，膠手套業者將從中受惠，促使頂級手套（TOPGLOV，7113，主板工業股）股價節節攀高，創下17個月新高水平。

閉市時，該股起15仙，或2.5%，至6.20令吉，寫下自08年1月11日以來最高水平。

除了頂級手套，其他業者的股價也翩翩起舞，它們是高產尼品（KOSSAN，7153，主板工業股）、穩大有限公司（ADVENTA，7191，主板工業股）、立佳手套控股（HARTA，5168，主板工業股）和速伯瑪（SUPERMX，7106，主板工業股）。

高產尼品以全天最高價位3.82令吉結束交易，漲12仙，或3.2%；穩大有限公司全天起6仙，或5.17%，至1.22令吉；立佳手套控股也漲14仙，或3.98%，至3.66令吉；而速伯瑪微起1仙，或0.6%，至1.70令吉。

日前，世界衛生組織宣佈，A（H1N1）型流感是繼1968以來，首宗最大型的流感。目前，該病毒已經擴散至全球約70個國家，情況危急。

（吉隆坡12日讯）随着A（H1N1）型流感演变成全球大流行阶段，手套领域因需求料将大涨而备受看好，手套股今日获热捧而直线上扬，顶级手套（TopGlov，7113，主板工业产品股）更是写下17个月来最高点。

世界卫生组织昨日在正式宣布将A流感的警戒级别，从第5级提升至最高的第6级，也就是全球流感的大流行阶级。

维持手套领域“增持”的大马研究今日披露，这项发展显示，在3月份中旬于墨西哥发现的A流感，将会较预期来得长久，预见全球对橡胶手套的需求有可能超过5%的增长，也有可能带来收益方面的惊喜。

顶级手套在截至早上11点14分时时就已扬升2.5%至6.20令吉，是自去年1月11日以来的最高点，并在之后以6.25令吉暂时休市，上扬0.20令吉或3.30%。该股最终在闭市时报6.20令吉，全日涨幅达0.15令吉或2.479%。

分析员也指出，去年预计今年的全年手套消费将达1350亿只，而顶级手套先前已表明旗下的手套需求将提高月65亿只。

“预见顶级手套将会较竞争对手高产尼品工业（Kossan，7153，主板工业产品股）更具优势，因前者的产能使用率较低，介于75%至80%，此外，也有较多产品种类，能提供更低价的乳胶手套。”

分析员也维持顶级手套及高产尼品工业的“买入”投资评级，目标价格则分别为6.70令吉和4.90令吉。

截至下午5时，高产尼品工业报3.82令吉，以0.12令吉或3.243%的涨幅挂收；另外两家手套公司——贺特佳（HARTA，5168，主板工业产品股）稳大（Adventa，7191，主板工业产品股），则分别报3.66令吉及1.22令吉，上扬0.14令吉及0.06令吉。另一方面，拉昔胡申研究依旧对手套领域持“增持”的正面展望，虽然A流感并未对股市带来太严重影响，但相信政府仍旧会做好最坏的准备。分析员同时也维持手套公司的收益预估不变。

RHB stays positive on glovemakers

RHB Research has maintained a positive outlook for the glove sector, as rubber gloves are considered the most basic and affordable form of protection against viruses in the healthcare industry, in particular with the onset of the H1N1 flu pandemic.

The threat of the H1N1 virus has had a minimal impact on the local market. Since news of the outbreak surfaced, the KLCI had risen by 12.8% compared to a smaller jump of between 2.5% and 11.4% for the glove manufacturers, the research house said in a recent note.

“We are still positive on glove manufacturers, even though the H1N1 virus does not appear to have adversely affected equity markets.

“While news flow regarding the virus has abated of late, we believe the virus is still out there as many countries are still reporting new cases of H1N1 infection. We believe the governments are still preparing for the worst, such as the potential emergence of a new strain,” said RHB.  

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared the H1N1 virus a pandemic and raised the alert level to Phase 6, the highest level, which means that the flu has spread from human to human in more than one region in the world.

The US Centre of Disease Control and Prevention also said that the virus would continue to be a threat, especially to countries in the southern hemisphere as they entered the winter season, the traditional flu season.

“As such, we believe demand for such gloves will remain strong and this should be positive for the sector on the whole,” said RHB in keeping its earnings forecasts for the glove manufacturers unchanged.

It was recently reported that the government of Australia had placed an order for 10 million vaccines against the H1N1 virus and 1.6 million courses of an antiviral drug Relenza, bringing Australia’s stockpile of antivirals to nearly 12 million courses.

Apart from the above, scientists were also studying the possibility that new variants of the H1N1 could emerge, said RHB. Experts were concerned that the mutation of the virus or reassortment with other influenza strains could potentially result in a more deadly strain.

RHB said it was maintaining fair values for Top Glove Corporation Bhd at RM7.20, Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd at RM4.90, Adventa Bhd at RM1.76 and Hartalega Holdings Bhd at RM3.72.

分析員預測其首9個月淨利將介於1億零800萬至1億1200萬令吉。同時，也預計該公司將連續第二個季度持續擁有淨現金。

頂級手套預計將在本月23日公佈其09財政年第三季業績表現。

三大正面因素支撐

馬銀行投行分析員指出，基於較高的銷售量、良好的產品組合、以及成本節省，三大正面因素支撐下，預測頂級手套09財政年第三季業績將為市場帶來驚喜。

「我們預測，頂級手套即將公佈的現財政年第三季業績，將超越我們和市場的預測。我們預估，其第三季淨利，將按季成長6-17%，至3820萬到4200萬令吉。至於首9個月淨利，則預料介於1億零800萬至1億1200萬令吉，佔我們與市場全年預測的76至81%。」

他補充說，頂級手套將交出強勁的成績單，主要是因為其第三季銷售量預料按季成長10%，之前為5%。此外，該公司也將從較低的煤氣價格中受惠，進而促使其毛賺幅獲得改善。與此同時，該公司產品組合改善也協助提高其賺幅。

有鑑於此，該分析員將頂級手套09財政年盈利預測調高6%，因為其現財政年第四季業績表現可能更為強勁。同時，他也將頂級手套2010至2011財政年的盈利預測，分別調高3%。

另一方面，分析員也預測該公司將宣佈派發更高的股息，預計為每股7至8仙，去年同期該公司宣佈派發每股6仙股息。

此外，分析員稱，頂級手套將連續兩個季度持有淨現金，上一個季度該公司手握4000萬令吉淨現金。

由於頂級手套的估值仍然處在相當吸引的水平，所以分析員維持其投資評級為「買進」，並將其目標價格，從原本的6令吉，上修至7令吉。
