calculate total cost of FG inventory in accordence with FRS102 inventories from the following data relating to United Sdn Bhd, for the yr ended 31 march 2008:

direct material cost / unit     RM 2
direct labour cost / unit        RM 1.5
direct expense / unit            RM 1
production OH / yr               RM 600k
administrative OH / yr         RM 250k
selling OH / yr                      RM 355k

there were 235k units in FG inventory at the yr end. there were no FG and WIP at the beginning of the yr.
the normal annual level of production is 750k can openers, but in the yr ended 31 march 2008 only 500k were produced bcoz of a labour dispute.
