你放出来的那个link不是一学术排名的。。。。。。而是以点击排名。。意思是当有人点进去拿学校时，就会加+1。。。。。。。点击越多的排名越高。。。。。。。 |

About the Ranking
Objectives of the Webometrics Ranking of World's Universities
Theoriginal aim of the Ranking was to promote Web publication. SupportingOpen Access initiatives, electronic access to scientific publicationsand to other academic material are our primary targets. However webindicators are very useful for ranking purposes too as they are notbased on number of visits or page design but on the global performanceand visibility of the universities.
As other rankings focusedonly on a few relevant aspects, specially research results, webindicators based ranking reflects better the whole picture, as manyother activities of professors and researchers are showed by their webpresence.
The Web covers not only only formal (e-journals,repositories) but also informal scholarly communication. Webpublication is cheaper, maintaining the high standards of quality ofpeer review processes. It could also reach much larger potentialaudiences, offering access to scientific knowledge to researchers andinstitutions located in developing countries and also to third parties(economic, industrial, political or cultural stakeholders) in their owncommunity.
The Webometrics ranking has a larger coverage thanother similar rankings (see table below). The ranking is not onlyfocused on research results but also in other indicators which mayreflect better the global quality of the scholar and researchinstitutions worldwide.
We intend to motivate both institutionsand scholars to have a web presence that reflect accurately theiractivities. If the web performance of an institution is below theexpected position according to their academic excellence, universityauthorities should reconsider their web policy, promoting substantialincreases of the volume and quality of their electronic publications.
Candidatestudents should use additional criteria if they are trying to chooseuniversity. webometrics Ranking correlates well with quality ofeducation provided and academic prestige, but other non-academicvariables need to be taken into account.

我不回不代表我不看帖。我的课程正式开始了，一开始就要读完6个关于mass comm的厚厚journal，然后，写完6个reading log再写个3500字的essay来考验我们的的analytic and critical thinking skills。可以算是去英国的热身吧！
有个大大说我移民去外地被歧视是少不了。嘿，我们在本地，不也是受到歧视吗？在外国，只要努力，黑人和女人也可以当国家领导人。在本地，华人当首相需要几亿年啊？
