|  | (吉隆坡8日讯)在金鹏(Tranmil,7000,主板贸服股)董事局建议对2006财政年的账目进行特别稽查后,该公司的股价今天有如惊弓之鸟而应声挫跌,成为拖累大马股市的其中一个因素。
昨天,金鹏配合宣布特别稽查的事宜而暂停交易,最后作价是13令吉,今天复牌后立即下挫至9.10令吉或30%,之后虽然恢复至10.80令吉的水平,可是仍然面对沉重的卖压。
截至中午12时30分休市时,金鹏报9.55令吉,下跌了3.45令吉或26.57%。闭市时,金鹏以10.00令吉挂收,下跌3.00令吉,全天成绩量有2千685万8千700股。
大马股市也受到拖累,吉隆坡综合指数闭市报1354.67点,下跌10.61点或0.78%,总成交量有14亿3千711万零500股。
昨天,金鹏不但无法按时呈交经过稽查的账目,同时也宣布该公司截至2006年12月31日的账目,可能出现违规的现象。

据悉,金鹏的稽查师已经致函董事局,针对一些账目表示无法从管理层里取得相关的支持文件,这些账目包括了销售额、贸易应收账款,以及固定资产,因此,稽查师无法认可这些账目的确实性。
金鹏在文告中表示,董事局怀疑2006财政年未经稽查账目的可靠程度,建议展开特别稽查程序找出问题的症结。
金鹏的主要业务是货物空运,该公司的主席是敦林良实医生。
联昌国际投资银行表示:“上述事件没有任何详情,不过从文告的语气来推测,事态似乎严重。”
在2006财政年,金鹏未经稽查的营业额从5亿5千万令吉,上涨至9亿8千930万令吉,涨幅高达80%;税前盈利也按年上涨87%至2亿零670万令吉。
此外,2006财政年的应收账款也翻了三番,从2005财政年的1亿1千110万令吉提高至3亿8千120万令吉。
目前,该行仍然维持金鹏原有的预测,“中和”的评级不变,今年底的目标价格为15.60令吉,这是根据18倍的本益比计算。
在过去3年,金鹏的股价是处于2.5倍至4倍的价格/净有型资产的水平交易,而股价的跌势将会在1.5倍的水平,即8令吉左右找到支撑。
“不过,我们认为10令吉应该是个心理水平,在这里会出现购兴。此外,由于郭鹤年领导的郭氏集团是金鹏的单一大股东,持有19.5%股权,因此长远来看展望依然正面,而认同这个看法的投资者应该把握趁低吸购的机会。” |

(亚庇19日讯)亚航提出降低机场税的申请,将于3天后有答案。
交通部长拿督斯里陈广才说,其部门将针对亚航的上述申请,于下星期一宣布详情,包括降幅的多寡。
他今日出席拉曼学院沙巴分院第一届毕业典礼时对记者说:“我这3天都在沙巴,我将在离开沙巴之前作出宣布。”
东马内陆航线月杪定夺
询及FAX将沙巴及砂拉越内陆航线交回给马航属下飞萤航空公司最新演变时,陈广才说,移交的细节将在本月杪定夺。
他说,有关内陆航线未必由飞萤经营,可能由马航旗下另一个机构接管。
他说,马航仍与与FAX讨论此事,而交通部与财政部也有参与讨论。
陈广才说:“我们预见有关细节将在本月杪敲定。之后,有关航线将逐步,而不是马上被接手。”
提到沙巴商界投诉FAX飞往拿笃班机延误的问题,陈广才说,他希望有关航线被接手后,问题可获解决。

较早前所说的廉价航空终站机场税有了定案:
吉隆坡23日讯-政府今日宣布调低国际廉航终站的机场税,国内航班及国际航班的机场税降幅分别为33%及51%。新收费率将从今年6月1日起生效,在此之前订购及缴付6月1日后启程的机票不获任何回扣。

Alitalia To Be Liquidated If Not Sold
July 19, 2007
Italian national carrier Alitalia will be shut down unless it finds a buyer, the government said, in an apparent warning to unions that played a central role in deterring suitors.
Italy scrapped its seven month auction of the loss-making airline on Wednesday after the last bidders pulled out, and now faces dwindling options and growing political embarrassment over the sale's failure.
"Other than a sale, there is only liquidation," Economy Minister Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa told Italy's Corriere della Sera newspaper, "Making Alitalia attractive to an investor seems more difficult than we thought."
The warning could put pressure on Alitalia's perennially striking unions to agree to concessions that would make the airline more appealing to a potential buyer.
The center-left government has already been blamed by the opposition and unions for the sale's collapse, and it could be further embarrassed if left with the airline on its hands.
The issue could come up at a cabinet meeting on Friday, while Padoa-Schioppa has agreed to address parliamentary panels on Alitalia.
One cabinet minister suggested giving Alitalia away for just one euro, or allowing the airline to go bankrupt.
"When something is diseased, you need to amputate it," Infrastructure Minister Antonio Di Pietro said.
The Economist magazine created a further stir in Italy by saying in a preview of its Friday issue that liquidation was the best option for an airline that needed "shock therapy."
A source close to the situation said that under Italian law Alitalia could not enter "Chapter 11"-style administration, with protection against creditors, as it is still solvent.
Italian newspapers have run banner headlines on the crisis and one newspaper began a poll on whether the state should save Alitalia or allow it to go bust.
"Working in the last few days has been real hell," said one Alitalia flight attendant who asked not to be named.
Alitalia, whose board meets on Friday to discuss its future, is working on a contingency plan for the next year focused on redesigning its network and curtailing losses, sources familiar with the matter said.
The plan to be discussed would aim to raise revenues by EUR100 million and reduce losses by cutting connecting flights to concentrate on point-to-point tickets, the sources said.
Alitalia's union woes -- and Rome's perceived reluctance to allow a buyer free rein to cut its 20,000-strong workforce -- have been integral to the absence from the auction of competitors such as Air France and Lufthansa.
Both airlines say Alitalia needs a radical turnaround to be of any interest. Indeed, a day after yet another strike by some staff, at least five Alitalia flights were cancelled at Milan's Linate Airport alone -- one due to "airline inefficiency," according to an Alitalia employee at the counter.
"I am not scared of the liquidation idea. In that scenario, someone able to fix things properly could come in," said one senior Alitalia pilot who asked not to be identified.
The three final bidders in the auction -- Russia's Aeroflot, US funds MatlinPatterson and TPG, and Italian carrier Air One -- have suggested they could be tempted back if the terms of the sale change.
Rome was taken by surprise when Air One pulled out since the government had agreed to some changes in terms the small carrier had sought, Padoa-Schioppa told Corriere della Sera.
Rome has said it will now look at all options, including opening direct talks with former bidders.
"It is hard to predict the outcome of the current sale process but on balance we think the players that could in theory pay a strategic premium have made their intentions clear by pulling out of the auction," Deutsche Bank said.
Alitalia bleeds over a million euros daily. It will soon need more cash after writing down its ageing fleet in May and the European Commission has ruled out allowing Rome to give it any further state aid.
As Padoa-Schioppa told the newspaper: "We have confronted a situation that has shown itself to be much more critical than we imagined."

(吉隆坡訊)交通部長拿督斯里陳廣才說,政府把梳邦機場改成國家宇航工業園(Aerospace Park),希望可吸引更多外資直接投資。
他說,部份國際公司如大馬歐洲直昇機公司(Eurocopter)在梳邦第二終站的成功營運,證明大馬被區域及國際公司鑒定為理想的投資環境。
他指出,宇航工業園的概念符合政府欲塑造梳邦機場成為保養(maintenance)、維修(repair)及大檢修(overhaul)飛機的區域中心。
陳廣才週日(6月17日)在巴黎希爾頓凱旋門酒店,出席2007年浮羅交怡國際海空展招待會時,這麼表示。陳廣才將出席為期1個星期的巴黎航空展,其演講稿通過馬新社發表。 (星洲日報•2007.06.19)

AirAsia Passengers Can Use Mobile Phones In Flight From Early 2009
KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 (Bernama) -- AirAsia passengers will be able to use their mobile phones and smartphones on board its Airbus A320 aircraft from early 2009, and the low cost carrier said today it will be the first in Asia to provide this service.
Besides making and receiving voice calls, passengers can also send and receive text messages and access email during flights, following a memorandum of understanding AirAsia signed with OnAir Switzerland Sarl at the Paris Air Show yesterday.
AirAsia's entire fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft will be fitted with the OnAir equipment, including aircraft currently flying and those on order from Airbus, it said.
A total of 150 aircraft will be equipped by 2013.
According to the statement, AirAsia X, the long haul low cost airline, has also signed a similar agreement for at least 15 Airbus A300-300 aircraft.

马航为飞萤订购ATR 72-500
MAS Purchases 20 ATR 72-500s Aircraft For Firefly
ROME, June 25 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and Avion de Transport Regional (ATR) today signed an agreement for the purchase of 20 ATR 72-500s turbo prop aircraft for MAS' subsidiary, Firefly.
The contract is worth about US$360 million, with a list price of about US$18.3 million per unit.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his Italian counterpart Romano Prodi witnessed the signing of the agreement at Villa Madama here. The leaders earlier had held bilateral talks.
Signing on behalf of MAS was its Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Tengku Azmil Zahruddin Raja Abdul Aziz while ATR was represented by its Chairman of the Board, Filippo Bagnato.
Speaking to reporters later, Tengku Azmil Zahruddin said the contract was for the purchase of 10 72-seater ATR aircraft plus an option for another 10 aircraft.
"The purchase of the aircraft is for the use of Firefly which has gone into its expansion phase," he said.
Firefly, he said would be operating from its hubs in Penang, Subang, Johor Baharu and Kota Kinabalu.
Tengku Azmil Zahruddin said the first delivery of two to three of the ATR aircraft was expected in October next year.
The aircraft would eventually replace the two Fokker 50, which is now being operated by Firefly, he added.
ATR is jointly owned by Alenia Aeronautica (Finmeccanica) and EADS.
Finmeccanica in a statement released here said that this was the first time that the Malaysian national carrier was purchasing an ATR aircraft.
Its brand new ATR 72-500s fleet will enable the airline to open new routes across Malaysia, it said.
These aircraft will be equipped with the "Elegance" cabin, Light Emitting Diode (LED), In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) and ETOPS 120, as well as the latest technological innovations in passenger comfort, communications and navigation tools, it added.

Qatar Airways Buys 80 A350 XWBs And Three More A380s
KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 (Bernama) -- Qatar Airways has signed a contract with Airbus to buy 80 Airbus A350 XWB aircraft as well as three more A380s, taking the total order for this aircraft to five.
The agreement was signed at the Paris Air Show between Qatar Airways chief executive officer Akbar Al-Baker and Airbus president and chief executive officer Louis Gallois.
Airbus said in a statement today that Qatar Airways will use the A350 XWBs to complement and subsequently replace its A330s on regional and long haul routes.
The A350 XWB is Airbus' newest aircraft and will be the world's most technologically advanced. It is designed to raise productivity, offer unparalleled levels of passenger comforts in its class while reducing operating costs, it said.
Addressing environmental concerns, the A350 XWB will set new standards in fuel efficiency, it added.

EU bans all Indonesian airlines from its airspace
BRUSSELS (Reuters) - All Indonesian airlines including national carrier Garuda will be banned from flying to the European Union within a week, the European Commission said on Thursday, updating a "blacklist" of carriers deemed unsafe.
Indonesian carriers do not currently fly to Europe so the ban is also a warning to the 27-nation EU's consumers and travel agencies not to use the country's airlines, an EU official said.
"European citizens should avoid flying with these carriers," the official said. "They are really unsafe."
Angola's TAAG Angolan Airlines and Volare Aviation Enterprise of Ukraine would also be banned, the EU executive said. Ten Russian airlines, six from EU member Bulgaria and eight from Moldova will cease operations within the bloc.
"The EU blacklist will prove to be an essential tool not only to prevent unsafe airlines from flying to Europe ... but also to make sure that airlines and civil aviation authorities take appropriate actions to improve safety," Transport Commissioner Jacques Barrot said in a statement.
Meanwhile, a ban on most aircraft operated by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), in force since March, will be lifted for specific Boeing 747 and Airbus 310 planes, it said. The carrier's fleet of Boeing 777s remains authorised.
The Indonesian carrier ban applies to all 51 airlines certified in that country.
The decision, following advice from an EU air safety committee, is expected to be formalised within a week.
The Commission advised EU countries to start preparing for the ban immediately.

(法新社泰國普吉18日電)泰國官員今天表示,造成89人死亡的普吉島空難事件,機長曾獲警告風勢很強,但仍執意降落。罹難者家屬正聚集在現場,指認摯愛親人的遺體。
警方表示,所有遺體已從焦黑的機身殘骸尋獲,不過57名罹難外籍乘客中的36人,身分仍有待確認。
這架泰國廉價航空公司One-Two-Go的客機16日要在狂風豪雨中降落時,航管人員曾警告印尼籍機長風強危險,但機長仍決定降落,他也在空難中喪生。
飛機降落時滑出跑道,撞上長滿樹木的路堤,斷裂起火。
負責飛航管制的泰國航空廣播機構告訴法新社:「早四分鐘降落的前一架飛機的機長警告塔台有風切,飛航管制員詢問失事客機機長是否知道這項消息,他說知道…然後塔台提供他更多資訊,並詢問他是否仍想要降落。」
「機長堅持要降落。」
民航官員先前指出,在意外中罹難的飛機機長,曾在最後一刻獲准中止降落。
不過這位機長的兒子在印尼提出另一版本說詞。他表示,普吉島當局告訴他,他父親當時想折返曼谷,不過塔台卻說他父親應該降落。

飛機在起降時速度降小,高度較低,風向或風速容易突然改變,稱為風切(wind shear),機師如果應變不當,飛機會被風切劇烈改變速度及方向,輕者飛機重落地或衝出跑道,重者機毀人亡。
不管是晴空萬里或是惡劣天氣,都有可能產生風切,讓航空人士頭痛的是,風切常常突然間產生,像亂流一樣,機師一不小心,即造成飛機失控。為了防範風切,有些機場會裝置偵測雷達,有的機場則是在跑道四周設置一些偵測點,如果發現風向或風速有明顯變化,立即通告準備起降的航班,注意風切。
「風切」這個讓機師聞之色變的氣候狀況,不到3年前,才在印尼發生;當時,飛機在風雨之中降落,因為風切,衝出了跑道,撞上山壁,30名乘客當場罹難。

(布城10日讯)维京集团(Virgin Group)今日正式与FAX航空签署协议,购入后者子公司亚航X 20%的股权。
在完成该项收购活动后,维京集团将直接参与亚航X的业务,并成功进军向来由发展成熟的航空公司所主导着的长途航班市场。
双方合作之后,亚航X将飞往澳洲的阿瓦朗(Avalon)和黄金海岸,以及伦敦的斯坦斯特德(Stansted)。黄金海岸航线预料将于9月杪或10月初启航。
FAX主席拿督斯里卡里慕拉说,维京的参与,将使到亚航X获得更大的财力支援,以及更顺利的扩展国际航线。
对廉航有信心
维尔京集团创办人的理查德布兰森爵士指出,他们将把亚航成功的廉价航空模式套用在刚成立的廉价长途航班上,比较短程航空,这个模式没有这么容易受到其他廉价航空的影响。
尽管维京集团在亚航X的投资属适中,但是,它显露了理查德布兰森爵士对亚洲发展蓬勃的廉价航空领域极有信心。
维京集团在亚洲的业务包括澳洲廉价航空Virgin Blue25%的股权。

9月起飞长途

该航空公司计划的航线包括亚洲数个城市、中东地区及伦敦。
