Why Most of IPTA Postgraduate Courses Not Accredited by MQA

Hello everybody,

i found out that most of our IPTA offered Master and PHD courses are not accredited by Malaysian Qualifications Accreditation (MQA).

This is very terrifying because alot of Master/ Phd courses that offered by IPTS were already accredited by MQA. Thus is it meaning to say the postgraduate course that me undertaking now at UM is very tough but my certificate is less valuable than those people took the postgraduate course at IPTS?

Any pro can help to answer?

这是因为国立大学拥有自主权，　拥有自己的认证机制，　所以就不会在MQA的管辖内。再说MQA的Panels专家都是来自国立大学, 所以就会导致自我审查的奇怪现象. 目前拥有独立认证机制的私立大学只有Nothingham 大学在大马的分校， Monash大学还在申请中.
