1.       Point-to-Point connection is one of the mostcommon types of WAN connection. PPP connections are used to connect LANs toservice provider WANs, and to connect LAN segments within an organizationnetwork. PPP supports two authentication protocols: Password AuthenticationProtocol (PAP) and Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP).

USE “Tutorial 1 No4.pkt” to answer this question. (Print screen for every task.)

a)     Configure CHAP setting in both routers, username for Router0 is R0 andRouter1 is R1, password is chap123.

b)     Configure PAP setting in both routers, username for Router0 is R0 andRouter1 is R1, password is pap123.
