宗教局勸女穆斯林 包頭巾防遭性侵

雪州宗教局近日編寫布道文，勸告女穆斯林必須戴頭巾遮蓋（TUTUP AURAT），以防遭人強姦或性侵，布道文提供給全州清真寺，讓穆斯林在週五祈禱時誦讀。文中也比喻，沒戴頭巾的女穆斯林，就如一間屋子沒上鎖，容易引賊入屋。

Computer engineer brutally raped, murdered in bus

KLANG: A computer engineer was raped, sodomised and murdered in a bus by the driver while on her way to work here on Saturday.

After using her tudung (headscarf) to strangle her, the driver dumped the woman's naked body near a road divider at the Bukit Tinggi housing project.



Noor Suzaily Mukhtar, 24, from Kangar, Perlis, had boarded the bus in Kuala Lumpur about 7am on Oct 7. It was the last day of her two-week attachment at a medical centre in Persiaran Raja Muda Musa.

It took the police three days of round-the-clock investigations to trace the man. A team headed by Klang crime chief Dept Supt Hasnan Hassan arrested the driver at the Port Klang bus terminal at 8.45pm on Tuesday.

The suspect, from Kelantan, had joined the bus company only 10 days earlier.

Besides being wanted for the rape of his former wife in Mentakab, Pahang, in 1988, the thrice-married suspect is also believed to be sought for a criminal breach of trust case in Subang Jaya in 1994.

Noor Suzaily, who graduated from a university in Britain, had been on temporary attachment to the hospital as a computer engineer.

On Saturday morning, she and a male Bangladeshi were the only two passengers in the bus which had heavily-tinted glass windows and windscreen.

Apparently, the driver did not stop to pick up other passengers along the way and later dropped off the Bangladeshi at the Klang bus stand.



On the way to Port Klang, he changed routes and drove towards Banting.

Police investigations found that Noor Suzaily, on noticing the different route, had demanded an explanation from the bus driver.

When he failed to respond, she hit him with an umbrella and tried to escape but failed because the driver had locked the doors.

He then pulled over into the Bukit Tinggi project site and attacked Noor Suzaily. No one suspected anything amiss inside the parked bus as the windows were tinted.

Police believe that Noor Suzaily was raped twice before the man used her headscarf to tie her hands and sodomise her.



When she struggled, he untied her hands and used the scarf to strangle her. He then threw her naked body out of the bus.

Klang OCPD Asst Comm Karn Kam Peng said police found Noor Suzaily's clothes about 500m from her body.

He said the suspect led police to the clock tower in Klang where he had thrown her identity card, keys and bank passbook. He admitted to keeping her handphone and a locket.

Sessions Court judge Kamarudin Hashim yesterday issued a 10-day remand order for police to complete investigations.

It is learnt that the suspect had also been convicted of a robbery case in Cukai, Terengganu, in 1996 and was ordered to be given two strokes of the rotan and jailed.

The suspect's wife, who just gave birth three days ago at a hospital here, was at the court yesterday.

Noor Suzaily's elder brother, Mohd Muhairiss, said the family was still in shock and could not believe that she was attacked so brutally.

"Suzie was the only daughter among four siblings. She graduated about a year ago,'' he said when met at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital mortuary.

Another relative said the family had high hopes for Noor Suzaily as she was the only graduate in the family.

She had planned to get her career going before settling down with her fiancee.

The relative said cousins in Kuala Lumpur had mounted a search for Noor Suzaily when she could not be located by Sunday.

"When we received word that a body had been found in Klang, we prayed that it would not be her. Tragically, it was,'' said the relative.

乾脆直接向他們的兄弟囯學習，禁止女性出門在家過一輩子會更有效，還可以趁機找藉口去侵犯他族女子，就像神教一直以來的傳統般
