You may not be forgetful about the interview but I still remember what you aspired for 2 years ago during our discussion. I have always indicated to improve our own position (be it increment or ranking) , we must continue to strive to add value to our job. That is why I always remember to have you to take up more responsibility as time goes ; this is the only way to guarantee growth for you and the company. To me, you are one staff who well understand this from the beginning.
I have spent time to explain the importance to work with your new BOSS last trip . In any working environment , the duty of any staff is to perform duty to satisfaction of the boss . Therefore, I should not be the mediator between you and your new BOSS, the most important thing is for you to find out in a humble manner what your new boss wants from you and how you can overcome any dissatisfaction he has over your work. ( which could be your efficiency or attitude). I can at least see that you were humble enough in the past many years to take instructions although lacking in efficiency and knowledge then, but why this important attitude is missing now ? This is what I have observed without becoming the referee telling who is right or wrong.
I have indicated to you that your performance has dropped because of not being able work closely with other senior staffs ; and secondly could be due to distraction of your clothing business (which was confidently denied by you and I hope this is not the factor).
In conclusion , for one who consider him/herself senior and experienced ,he/she should always improve to the boss's satisfaction by helping to solve problems and recommend solutions. To a boss, a good efficient staff is one who can help to solve problem and not the other way round ( 紧记) .
So, keep up with what I have asked you to do few weeks ago and do not give us the feeling that you can't be bothered or not keen on your current job. Therefore , it is of utmost importance to convince your new boss and me that you are good enough who are rating your peformance.
