(吉隆坡20日讯)嘉都(Extol，0119，创业板)宣布放弃实行附加股及凭单计划。        

该公司表示，在评估目前波动的市况之后，无意继续进行去年3月宣布的附加股及凭单计划。该公司將重新检討公司目前的財务及营运状况，若有必要，將再决定採取其他的集资活动。

该公司昨天向马交所报备，新股每股10仙，该公司1263万2400令吉缴足资本，等于1亿2632万4000股，10%私下配售等于1263万2400股。

嘉都指出，该些新股将配售予大股东、公司相关人士及公司受益人以外的待定投资者。

私下配售参阅价为每股10.5仙，等于该股10月2日止每股11.44仙的5天加权平均市价8.22%折价。若成功配售，最高料筹获133万令吉资金。

该公司认为，私下配售是筹集资金的最好方法。既可节省贷款成本，由可迅速完成，较有效率。

股价异动接UMA 嘉都称不知原因

（吉隆坡17日讯）嘉都（EXTOL，0119，创业股）因近期股价异常走高，今日遭马交所发出“不寻常市场活动”（UMA）质询，傍晚时发文告回应，对导致股价高涨的潜在原因表示不知情。

嘉都周一早盘以39.5仙的全天最低点开跑，随后一度扬升14%，或5.5仙，攀至44.5仙，写下上市以来的新高记录。

该股全天走势波动甚大，闭市收在42仙，全天共扬3仙，或7.69%；全天成交量达780万9000股。

值得注意的是，嘉都股价自2月6日开始走高，迄今已大幅飙涨265%，或30.5仙。

该股曾在2月24日触及27.5仙的高点，惟后继无力，2月杪回落至20.5仙。

股权变化频密

不过，该股在3月开始重拾动力，股价节节上扬，更于周一刷新上市以来的最高水平，引起马交所关注，继而发出UMA质询。

另一方面，该公司近期股权变化相当频密，Swift Icon私人有限公司在3月5日购入2700万股，相等于19.43%的股权后，崛起成为大股东。

嘉都大股东罢免3董事

（吉隆坡20日讯）嘉都（EXTOL，0119，创业股）持有超过10%股权的大股东，寻求召开股东特别大会，罢免3名董事。

嘉都向马交所报备，接获联合持有公司超过10%股权的大股东，包括Manjung Untung私人公司、Crystal Privilege私人公司、拿督赖文贤和拿督赖文鸿（皆译音）致函。

大股东在函中要求嘉都召开特大，罢免3名董事和委任3名新董事。

大股东寻求罢免的董事，分别是非执行主席拿督阿末依斯迈、总执行长兼副执行主席莫哈末巴达鲁丁，以及执行董事莫哈末法依绍，不过并没有给予要求罢免的原因。

截至今年1月，巴达鲁丁握有嘉都9.62%股权，而法依绍持有1.98%股权。

根据公司最新年报，现任董事部成员还有非执行董事依斯马瓦迪和顾文峰（译音）。不过，大股东并未要求罢免这两名董事。

计划入驻董事部的成员，包括大股东之一赖文贤，以及黄艺彪和刘锦玲（皆译音）。

本月28日开特大嘉都即将在3月28日，举行股东常年大会。

在本周一，嘉都因股价异常走高，遭马交所发出“不寻常市场活动”（UMA）质询。

嘉都上周接获联合持有超过10%股权的大股东致函，要求召开股东特别大会，罢免其中3名董事；但顾文峰并不在名单中。

嘉都今天向马交所报备，现年44岁的顾文峰，是考虑到本身需要应付的工作增加，所以决定辞去董事职位。

他目前持有嘉都200万股，或1.44%股权，并通过父亲间接持有5万股，或0.04%股权。
