However,with the launch of the Toyota GT-86 Open Concept, Toyota’s brand newentry-level sports car is now capable of delivering a similar award winningdriving experience to the GT86 coupe while also giving owners the ability todrop the roof and be exposed to the sun like never before.
Afterrecently being spied undergoing finally preparations in South Africa,the Toyota GT86 Convertible has finally debuted albeit only in concept form andbeing called the Toyota FT-86 Open Concept ahead of a public release at theupcoming Geneva Motor Show 2013.
Eversince the Toyota GT86 was launched, it’s been pinned as the best cheapalternative for the all-conquering Mazda MX-5 but in standard form the ToyotaGT86 had one missing component which the MX-5 had, and that was a removableroof.
Basedon the following gallery of the car, it’s not yet known whether it’ll feature ahard-top like the Mazda MX-5 or instead a fabric roof, but either way, theFT-86 Open Concept is set to wow crowds at the Geneva Motor Show 2013, a pointhelped by the fact that it also includes a slightly redesigned interior,featuring a white and black two-tone finish.
Officialdetails about the car will be revealed upon its debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2013.
