Hari Raya is on Sunday
KUALA LUMPUR: Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Aidilfitri on Sunday, the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal, Datuk Syed Danial Syed Ahmad, announced Saturday night.
The announcement was broadcast by Radio Television Malaysia (RTM).
"In adherence to the command of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the consent of the rulers, I hereby declare that the date for Hari Raya Puasa (Aidilfitri) has been set for Sunday, Aug 19 2012," he said. - Bernama |
