投诉starhub broadband后,他们的回复。

Dear Mr XXX

Thank you for using our Network Utilities online.

In regards on the test results that you had provided; we noticed that
you are connected wirelessly or to a DLink router; however the
results may vary and inaccurate.

We wish to share with you that the following conditions must be
fulfilled for an accurate test result for our engineers to understand
the issue better.

1. Computer connected directly to the Motorola SB5101 cable modem
(i.e. bypass the router, if any).
2. No wireless connection.
3. Latest Java plug-in (Download the latest at
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp)
4. Use Ethernet connection (UTP 100BaseT) whenever possible.
5. No other Internet software running.

In the mean time, we wish to better understand the slow access that
you are experiencing. Hence, we would appreciate it if you could
check and provide us with the following details, as it would assist
our engineers in their investigations.

1. HFC MAC ID (found at the barcode sticker on the cable modem):
xxxxxxxxxxxx (Please verify)
2. Location of your cable modem - Living/Bedroom?:
3. When did the issue started and what time would the issue occur
most likely?:
4. Operating system (OS version / Service Pack):
5. Can the issue be resolved with a direct connection between your PC
and the Motorola SB5101 cable modem (bypassing your DLink router)? :
6. Please list Firewall, anti-virus, peer-to-peer software running on
your PC. (Please include vendor and version):
7. Have you done any tweaking to the OS Registry?:
8. Would you encounter the same issue on a different PC? :
9. Please provide the Port number and IP address of the site/server
that is having latency:
10. Test account User ID and password (if any):
11. Server admin's contact number or e-mail address:
12. Java Version (Refer to Network Utilities Guide.pdf for a guide to
verify the Java version):
13. Please connect your Motorola SB5101 cable modem directly to the
computer, bypassing any router & splitter when performing the
following tests:

1. 3 x Bandwidth meter test. (Please submit your results via
http://utilities.starhub.com)
2. 3 x Trace route to sites which you experience latency. (Please
submit your results via http://utilities.starhub.com)
(Refer to Network Utilities Guide.pdf for the guide on how to obtain
the information from our website)

14. Date and time of when the results are performed:
15. How long does it take for you to load up the website that you
experience slow access with? :

(Please reply us back with this e-mail after you had filled in the
details and performed the test above).

If you have any questions on StarHub MaxOnline services, please call

最近的网速越来越差,昨晚终于按耐不住去starhub utilities 按了report。

结果,回复我这样的一封email。
好想回复"fxxk"给他阿。

我没看LZ写什么...
我自己的是M1...
我晚上根本不能上网...还会断线的~
M1回应“我们的线在白天是没有问题的~就是所谓要有太阳~
没太阳...没线...
不知道什么道理~

才会签M1的~

很明显,你朋友老点你。如果你的电话配套和上网配套同时是starhub的还有折扣呢。

本人在用着starhub 100mbps配套,晚上上网一般上没问题,除非家里有人在看pps或下载.......
