請問怎麼在access中弄，
1) fields like state with options avail, instead of key in?
2) customize ID & date display format? eg. ABC001, instead of oo1...

Q1. 不晓得你的avail什么meaning， 不过if want to have opetion on a fields or forms then you can use combo box and call a query on it on the option you want to give.

Q2. you can search on help of Access, either Format([yourfield]) for Date, and then VAL([yourfield]) for other option, you can search from help.

在general tab 那边，format 的field 放 "ABC"001, 那就可以了。

1) 如在main table key in時，如state field我想預設一些data eg..selangor, KL,Perak etc.請問我可以怎麼弄?有幾種方法可以達成任務?

個人發現, 如在format tab set value to "ABC"001 save changes時
auto變成 "ABC"00\1，output就會是 ABC011, ABC021…(autonumber)

Q1. 如果你是在forms, 做一个Front End让人key in detail and save in your database then you can try below :

1.Create a form.
2.Create a combo box,  in combo box wizard there will have 3 options for you to choose, to select option from a query?, to select option from the value you typed ? or find a value from a form based to select.

For your case, I believed you can choose 2nd option since you already know all your value to allow to choose.

combo box的作法，我試過了。
如我没create forms with front end,  
a) can i create a table with data eg..perak, pahang...etc
     then make it link back to "State" in main table? so that when i key in data in main table, when comes to "State"
     i can select the options available there.

OK, you can do this way,  create a new table in design view then on the field you want to give option click on lookup tab and change it into combobox instead on text box. From there then you can choose like what you did in forms, you can choose row source, you should able to follow up from there now....
