Despite founding out a total of 62 students and school staffs diagnosed with vomiting and diarrhoea at Oasis Primary School in Punggol, the Singapore government chose to cover up the matter from parents and the public. 2 patients were hospitalised for dehydration. Government agencies including the Ministry of Health, National Environment Agency, Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) and national water agency PUB were informed of the viral infection on Jan 7 but the announcement was made public only ten days later on Tuesday (Jan 17).

尽管在彭州的Oasis小学确诊了62名学生和学校工作人员被诊断出呕吐和腹泻，但新加坡政府选择了从父母和公众来掩饰这件事。 2例患者住院治疗脱水。包括卫生部，国家环境局，新加坡农业食品兽医局（AVA）和国家水务机构PUB在内的政府机构1月7日被告知病毒感染，但公告只在十天后公布星期二Jan 17）。
