Smk sg maong用国文比较多,而st thomas多数用英文,比较少用课本,校方会叫学生买参考书用。听说讲华文会被罚钱,

聖若瑟私立學校 - 教会所主办的学校。学生需要通过考试才能报学。应该比较注重英语教育。需每个学期付学费。家庭有能力应该没问题。。

应该一样吧。毕竟还得应付政府课程。这学校也是注重教会课程。。 你可以去那里问问看啊。。 办公室一样有开吧。

The “extras” we are providing our students are:

i) apart from teaching our students the Malaysian syllabus in English we provide them with the Singapore syllabus,
ii) Mathematics and Science are taught in both Bahasa Malaysia and English,
iii) Chinese is a compulsory subject and is allocated 10 periods a week,
iv) Catechism is taught to our students to instill in them character building and proper behaviour,
v) Computer studies to hone their skills in modern technology,
vi) two field trips are held per year to bring home to the students that learning can be fun and take place anywhere.

认识蛮多个SMK Sg. Maong出来的（还是理科生），成绩普通，态度也蛮懒散。 我觉得St Joseph's Private School环境会比较好，也比较能关心学生的进展（学生人数没那么多，老师不会忽略到学生）。以下是St Joseph's Private School的syllabus，差不多一样，只是有几个extra subjects。（http://www.stjosephprivate.com/curriculum-overview/curriculum-secondary-school/）

Bahasa Malaysia  -  9 periods

English Language  -  13 periods

Mathematics  -  6 periods

Science  -  6 periods

Sejarah  -  3 periods

Kemahiran Hidup  Bersepadu -  4 periods

Pendidikan Agama/ Moral  –  2 periods

Pendidikan Seni  -  2 periods

St Jo的课跟普通国中是一样的，只是因为他是教会的学校所以会有些比较extra的课程好比说bible..那些sejarah啊geografi的都跟国中一样是国文教学，math science之类的当然就英文呀...但英文的语言课他们非常的重视...我堂弟读st Jo的今年form1...虽然说每个月都需要还蛮贵下的学费但我觉得值得咯，因为学费包含补习费了...学校会给你的孩子早上上课下午补习那样~~如果有能力的话是不错的说..

St Joseph Private 课程范围基本上和 SMK 一样.不过数理方面会有 add on.严格来说, St Joseph Private 的数理(PMR以下) 受 教该 影响,马来文为主,不过有英语为补.真正英语教数理以后只有 Private International stream[没考SPM]  和独中.

St Joseph Private 不是想进就能进的,必须有入学考试. 学费贵,代表学生家境好,家长比较重视素质.有入学考试,学生的成绩能力会有一定的标准.  SMK maong 收了一大堆kampung kudei 的孩子,素质们你拿来和 St Joseph Private 比,有点侮辱了 St Joseph Private !

不过学费就不是普通的贵!
