[急] 人在美国, 但是收到email 要我去 Kuala Lumpur High Court 给 oral testimony

我在Dec 2010 寄email 去 filed 了一个complaint, 是关于一个 bus driver 超速的我刚刚(30 Jan 2012) 收到email 要我下个星期去 Kuala Lumpur High Court 给 oral testimony
可是我人在美国大学, 可能１年根本不可能回去
请问我应该怎么做

Dear Mr xxxx:

Please note that we have instituted legal proceedings against another party
which is set for trial on **th, **th and **th February 2012.  One of the
documents which will be produced as evidence during the trial was an email
dated  7 December 2010 that you had sent to us.  As such, you are required
to attend the High Court in Kuala Lumpur on the ** th, ** th and **th February
2012 in order to give oral testimony during the trial that (i) you had
prepared the email which you sent to us; and (ii) the events and
circumstances which formed the premise of the email's contents.

Kindly revert to us by 31st January 2012 with your confirmation that you
will attend the High Court in Kuala Lumpur on the ** th, ** th and ** th February
2012 in order to attend the trial and give oral testimony as requested
above.  The trial will begin at ** a.m. on all the said days and your
attendance in court by that time is required.  In the event that we do not
receive your confirmation as stated herein, we will issue a subpoena which
will be served personally on you in order to compel your attendance in court
for the trial.

我就出声要他放慢速度 因为我不想死在他驾的巴士 结果他也不理睬我的劝告
我就只好计算他的速度 来证明他超速！
和他的公司投诉后 隔几天那个公司的CEO亲自打电话来了解情况
然后promise我会调查
以为最多不了了知了 或者只是给于警告 哪里知道这么麻烦
他们竟然把他控上法庭
搞到我也feel bad for 那个司机 等下害他没工作
出庭作证给他认到也会威胁到人身安全吧

给你两个方法，一就是email回去告诉他你的情况。。二就是买机票请假回去。。
