what is structural protein, non-structural protein, and scaffold protein? I want to know the definition and the differences between them, thank you

[size=-1]Basically,

Structural proteins (ie. fibrous protein cos they r fibres)
proteins that determins the shape or structure of the substance. (e.g. keratin gives u the carrot skin, collagen the human skin)

Non-structural proteins (ie. globular protein cos they r spiral-like )
proteins that determines the function (instead of shape and structure) of itself. Its structures are used to destroy cell for example (e.g. viruses)

Scaffold proteins (ie. catalytic protein)
(scaffold means the steels and boards u put up beside buildings for builders to stack up bricks etc.)
proteins that produce signals for other proteins to interact (catalytic function)
(e.g. proteins in yeast)

Scaffold are more advanced topic u can find in most molecular biology or biochemistry.
