Gaianotes Surfacer Evo 測試報告。



這是一個關於 Gaianotes 的新產品： Surfacer Evo 的測試報告。根據官方網站的數據，此surfacer的組成粒子非常細，絕對適合用做模型上色的底漆。先來分享稀釋的比例，由於粒子比較幼，所以這次的稀釋比較會不同於我以前的比例（以前是用郡氏的surfacer 1200）。比例是2.5：1 （thinner：surfacer evo）。接下來是應用的體驗。

用0.3mm的噴筆（打個廣告，我用richpen的AB-300噴筆），感覺上噴出的漆料比較輕，非常容易上的模型的表面。還有一個對我來說很不錯的體驗，就是狀塊的粒子沒有噴出過（用郡氏的1200，發生的頻率比較高，也許是我稀釋的比例出問題？！），也許是由於surfacer evo的粒子很幼所以發生以上的情況比較少見吧！？

底漆干卻的時間大概是10分鐘，干了後，發現其表面比郡氏的1200還要來得滑，還有就是顏色相對的比較沒有那麼灰。所有的細節（連刻線都可以呈現）都一覽無遺，絕對適合上在有很多又很細刻線的模型上（例如飛機模型）。




再來是說缺點，缺點就是所有沒有做好的水口也都一覽無遺。Surfacer evo 補洞/補縫的功能較低（相對郡氏），所以要各位處理水口時候要比較用心。

最後，奉勸各位不要用未經任何國際安全測試的surfacer和thinner （雖然用起來‘好像’一樣），因為健康最重要。

This is a simple Gaianotes new product: Surfacer Evo testing report. According to the data from the official website of Gaianotes, this surface particles are extremely small, is ultimate to use as model kits painting base color. First of all, I would like to share my dilution ratio. Since the particles are smaller, I used different dilution ratio that I used to be use (previously only use GSI Mr. Surfacer 1200). The ratio is 2.5:1 (thinner: s urface evo). Next will be the application experience.

I am using 0.3mm airbrush (well, just share to you all that my airbrush is Richpen AB-300), the surfacer is ‘lightweight’ when spray out of the airbrush, very easy to stick onto the model kits plastic surface. There is a good experience for me when I use the surface evo, which is that, has not happen bulk particle sudden spray out from the airbrush (this happen with higher frequency when I use GSI surface 1200, maybe is my dilution ratio problem?!). I suspect that is because of the surfacer evo particle is far smaller so that above phenomenon is seldom happen!?

It takes around 10 minutes to dry. After it dried, I found that the surface is smoother than the GSI surface 1200, and the color after dried is not ‘gray’ as the GSI one. All the detail (small lining also can be seen clearly) can be seen, it is ultimately use for the model kits that contains heavy details (such as military kits like plane)
The disadvantage of the surface evo is: all the uneven surface of the cutting edge is seen clearly if you do not make it perfect. The surfacer coverage function is not so good (compared to GSI), so please pay more attention during cutting edge management.

Finally, just want to advise you guy do not use any surfacer or thinner that do not run for any international safety test (although it looks seems same), health is most important.
