小弟刚来到澳洲的大学，现在的情况是要enrol科目。。。
我一个学期12个unit，bachelor of design studies第一年，
第一个学期是 2个core subject (history of settlements + human environments) 加一个elective。。。
elective那边呢，sch of architecture给我3个科目，分别是 art history & theories 1A, imaging our world 和 landscape narrative。
我个人对art history并没有兴趣，只是imaging our world 是学 flash 和 photoshop 的，而 landscape narrative 就是学习关于地形或者建筑的形态 + story telling 等。
我不知道要选那一科勒。。。我的course coordinator说，如果建筑系的话，就imaging our world比较relavant；landscape narrative 很明显的比较适合 landscape archi的学生拿。你们觉得呢？

第二个学期也是这样，elective 那边让我选的有4科，其中2科看了就不想要，还有2科就是 special topic in design studies 1C (introduction to urban design) 和 special topic in design studies 1D (advance graphic design)...以下是这两科的介绍。。。

Special Topic IC: Introduction to Urban Design

This course consists of lectures and tutorials which will introduce students to the role of Urban
Design and its significance in City Making. The course will also utilise and develop hand drawing
techniques as they apply to observation of City built form and places and their use in visual
communication. An emphasis will be placed on sketching and drawing as a key design tool in
developing initial design ideas prior to use of digital media for presentation and detailed concept
designing.

Workshop tutorials will involve assignments in creative thinking and visualising ideas using
sketching, drawing and diagrams as design tools and a fundamental means of communication.
Students will also work in teams on a range of City Projects to develop an understanding of Urban
Design by observing, analysing and thinking creatively about future change in the urban realm
using hand drawing techniques.


Special Topic ID: Advanced Graphic Communication

This course builds on the hand and digital graphics skills developed from previous course: Human
Environment: Design and Representation (and History of Settlements). In essence, this course
helps students to develop advanced graphics skills, judgement and confidence to face future
communication challenges. The course emphasises on the following: (1) colour theory and the use
of colour for presentation graphics; (2) development of advanced hand rendering techniques; (3)
development of advanced SketchUp digital techniques; (4) further development of Photoshop skills
for integrating hand and digital graphics; (5) development of workflow and confidence for switching
between hand and digital graphics at will.

The lecture and tutorial session of each week builds on the knowledge and understanding of the
lecture and tutorial session from the previous week. The knowledge and skills will be acquired
through individual assignments leading to a final project which will be presented in large graphic
display format at the end of the semester.

分别就是，1C是着重用手绘，而1D是着重CAD的。
你们觉得那一个比较好呢？

imagine our world这个名字听起来好像很深奥，但就是学习photoshop和animation的嘛，对你以后很有用。另外一个你确定是art history？还是arch history?

graphic design对一些没有美术底的人来说会很难的，如果是我，会选intro to urban design，这科很重要的，你上到master还是会继续研究urban的，所以有个底还是比较好。

真的是art就很广了，因为art包含的东西很多，可以是architecture，或者是音乐和paintings等。不过我觉得这应该不是很难的subject，因为一个term不可能教太多东西的，也许只是introduction之类的。

我已经下定决心选了imaging our wolrd和introduction to urban desgin了。。。。。
今天光是买那些文具之类的东西就花了$316。。。这里真是鬼贵！

没有厄，也不认识这样一个人。
不要说表姐，我之前连朋友都没有人来过adelaide过。
到是我很想知道为什么你会这样问的？
