古晋明明发展的得比西马同样人口城市来的不错。谈谈你们对古晋的发展有什么期待？我认为（教育，文化）等软体发展，比硬体（购物中心，办公楼，公寓) 来的重要
其实我们的高等教育发展(砂大，MARA 工艺大学分院，Swinburne 大学分院，OPEN 大学分院等等）已经赢过很多州属。还有全国数一数二的州电子图书馆，数一数二的州体育馆，数一数二的医疗设备，数量不少的休闲公园等等等
很纳闷常听古晋人爱拿KL比较？我们期待更多娱乐场所吗？谈谈你们对古晋的期待？

National Tax Academy branch campus in Kuching

KUCHING: The Inland Revenue Board’s (IRB) National Tax Academy will open its first branch campus here, with two more later in Malacca and Sabah.

IRB chief executive and director-general Datuk Hasmah Abdullah said the campuses were needed as the academy’s main campus in Bangi, Selangor, could no longer accommodate the increasing number of staff and officers who needed to be trained.

“Opening up branch campuses will help us achieve our vision of becoming a tax administrator of international standards by allowing us to continue pro­ducing highly-trained and skilled staff,” she said at theground-breaking ceremony for the campus at Jalan Tabuan here on Friday.

The ceremony was performed by Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud.

Hasmah said the academy had been set up as the IRB’s training arm to produce staff who were highly disciplined, professional, competent and knowledgeable in carrying out their work.

She said the academy had also opened its training courses to the public and international participants besides offering a number of courses in part­nership with overseas insti­tu­tions. This included the Orga­nisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Commonwealth Association of Tax Administration, the Japan International Coo­peration Agency and the Australian Tax Office.

The RM140mil branch campus is expected to be ready in July 2010.

Located on a 1.78ha site, its facilities will include an administration and academic block, multi-purpose hall, auditorium, hostel, staff quarters and computer lab.

It will also house the Kuching investigation and intelligence office.

When completed, it will be able to accommodate 300 trainees and 120 staff at any one time.

UITM没华人的份！
Swinburne 大学分院没钱进的了吗？
OPEN 大学分院， 用会UITM的设施！OPEN U，请问租的是谁的店，你知道吗？
选地方都选在偏僻鸟不生蛋的地方！

呃 我感覺古晉的人口一直上不去呢。。。
本地大學難申請，一些家庭就把孩子們都送國外去。。。
國外念完書以後，回來這裡找工作不划算，因爲工資太低了，所以又跑國外去了。。。
慢慢地。。。人口老化嚴重，年輕的都往外跑。。。。不良的循環呢。。。
唉。。。

我只期待能夠有更多的外資來投資，提高本地的經濟。。。。

不要误导,我也申请过加拿大大学,我的第一选择是经济系,可是他们安排我读第二选择英语系. 结果我去英国读

我的朋友,华人,也有不少是砂大毕业的.
UITM 我承认华人比较难进!!!

SWINBURNE  会比去外国贵吗? 去外国,要住宿费,膳食费等等等, (古晋有能力读大学,有十八万到二十万人)
有那间大学,一开始就有永久校园? 砂大一开始也是很小啊

不一定,名字虽然是税务学院
但开办很多其他科系
