很多technique 都是这么说的。。。
当初sequencing 刚刚走红的时候，他们都说sequence 了生物的genome ， 人类的genome 就可以揭露很多秘密， 可以找到疾病的基因。。。
然后microarray 开始红的时候，就说可以一次过了解生物的expression。。。知道生病时候，被病毒侵犯时候， 人体的gene expression。。。
后来又发现，mRNA transcription 并不一定代表一定被 express 出来。。。
所以，现在，人们才开始了所谓的“post microarray”时期。也就是直接研究 gene expression 后的protein profile。
不过很多时候，掌握了一个技术，和现实上如何“cure a diesease”还有一段路程。。。

mass spec 和protein sequencing 不便宜哦。。。
要很有钱才可以。。。
这里，有听过人家run 2d gel。。。protein seq 就。。。

近来也很流行protein crystallography 哩。。。
听说也是不错一下的。

我不玩protein。。。 more on genomics

2d gel stands for 什么?!
做 genom, 有玩到 clonning 吗?!

有听说 cancer 现在的其中一个 cure 是用 inhibitor~
也就是用 protein~

从 gene 下手医大病, 现阶段最多也只能在未成型的embryo 下手~
要在我们这样的人下手, 就非用到 nanotechnology 了~

Protein 下手应该是更直接, 有效的医法~
出生/ 未出生都一样~
当然, 体内的发应还没 take into consideration~
...

protein crystallography 是把 protein molecule crystallized,
然后, 用 XRD 来 study 它的 structure 的 方法吗?!

听说, protein crystallography 的开创人是 nobel laurette 哦~

cloning。。。 都有玩过。。。很实用的技巧。
不管是做genomics 还是expression ， 很=多时候都要clone的。。。
现在很多人solve protein structure 来找什么 inhibitor 可以inhibit 那个 protein。

要 clone 人的话请找火魔神~

protein sequencing 能帮人知道它的 amino acid 种类&排列~
protein crystallography 能帮人知道它的 structure~

以上两个, 对 fabrication of inhibitor 非常重要~
看来, 再加上 protein building method, 为病菌量身定做 cure 的时代要来临了~

偷偷告诉你哦，虽然UKM SD的很多journal都没有，但外国很多的U都有subscribe哦。你敢不敢盗用他们的？

嘻嘻。。。不知道这个算不算“盗用”。
有试过去一个网页叫bugmenot.com的。。。
那里有些人把自己的/学院/大学的login放上去，跟人家“分享”。
除了journals 的login 以外，还有其他一些website login。。。
有试过用来access一些ukm 没有subscribe 的journals。 不过很快就不能用了。而且有一些login不是100%可以用的。
可惜，那里没有nature的login id and password 。
还得我还是每次要动用“人际关系”。

这不算盗用 。。。算偷用。 盗用要更上一层楼。 有什么顺也以后一起研究分享下。

你去www.bugmenot.com， 把该网站的网址打进去试试看有没有access id and password。
有时候他们会有几个选择，每一个都有不同的成功率。
我上次用了一个不知道是巴基斯坦，还是什么地方大学的login， 不过很可惜，不久后那个journal被纳入wiley后，就不能用了。
try luck 咯。。。
不然，就找其他大学的朋友问问。
