关于2007年世界环境日

世界环境日,   设立于每年6月5日，是联合国最重要的纪念日之一，旨为提高世界人们的环保意识和增强政治上的影响力。
2008年世界环境日的主题是“转变传统观念，推行低碳经济”。各国已经认识到气候变化正在发生这一不争的事实，联合国环境规划署要求各国政府、企业、社区关注如何采取措施，以减少温室气体的排放。世界环境日将重点关注如何促进建立低碳经济体系和生活方式，例如提高能源效率、寻找替代能源、保护森林以及生态友好型消费561;.
The World Environment Day slogan for 2008  is Kick the Habit! Towards a Low Carbon  Economy.Recognising that climate change is becoming the defining issue of ourera, UNEP is asking countries, companies and communities to focus ongreenhouse gas emissions and how to reduce them. The World EnvironmentDay will highlight resources and initiatives that promote low carboneconomies and life-styles, such as improved energy efficiency,alternative energy sources, forest conservation and eco-friendlyconsumption.
